Abilities

Innate: The Flow of Magic- Av’ala gains increased max health based on bonus mana regen, and increases his size by the same percentage as bonus mana regen. In addition, Av’ala gains percentage bonus health regen equal to his percentage bonus mana regen. Underground Stream- Av’ala spreads Underground Stream wherever he walks, increasing area with size. His spells also spread Underground Stream in the areas they affect and gain extra effects when cast on this area, and, whenever he connects a separate stream by walking to it, he gains bonus movement speed.

Q: Geyser- Av’ala causes a geyser to well up, erupting after a short time. Enemies within this area are dealt magic damage, and are slowed. Underground Stream- The geyser grows in size relative to Av’ala’s size, and the original area knocks up enemies.

W: Bubbling Spring- Av’ala creates a spring of water at target location. Enemies on the spring take magic damage over time. Enemies caught in the spring for a specific duration have their damage reduced. Underground Stream- The spring spreads through all area connected by Underground Stream, and heals allies per second instead.

E: Deep Currents- Av’ala dives underground, becoming untargetable for a short time. He then resurfaces, caving the ground in an area around him in, rooting enemies in the area and dealing magic damage to them. Underground Stream- Av’ala can travel to target nearby Underground Stream, resurfacing there instead.

R: Flood- Av’ala channels for up to 3 seconds, spreading his Underground Stream in a growing circle around him. From the time he begins his channel to a time after his channel ends, enemies on top of Underground Stream are grounded.

Av’ala is a health resource champion, but for the purposes of his passive, he does have 1 Mana Regen per 5 and 1 Max Mana (hidden stat). He is designed to be a Warden/Support, capable of playing top or support, though his main strength is support.

Av’ala utilizes comboing spells together to maximize his teamfight ability, but his abilities are fairly telegraphed, thanks to him having to set up his passive to get the most out of his abilities. As he uses health as a resource, he has to be much more careful about his decisions, but his ability to turn mana regen into health and healing allows him to scale better with support items than most.
