My idea of a Warwick Rework

This is just my stab at reworking him. Conceptually he has a lot of breathing room. There are very few hard numbers in this, just ideas. I just enjoy doing this so much I thought I'd see what people think about it. Feedback is always appreciated.

Passive: Blood Rage: Warwick gains 1/2/3 move speed for each 1% missing health of an enemy champion within 1000/2000/4000 units (the greatest missing health among these enemies determines the amount, and they have an indicator above them). The radius increases at levels 5/10/15.

If 5/4/3 or more champions, including enemies and Warwick, are below 50% health, or if Warwick is the last champion alive on his team, he gains Blood Rage, gaining extra healing from all attacks, extra ability effects, and runs faster towards low health champions.

Notes: I really enjoy the concept of blood madness. Warwick becomes so consumed by the smell of blood in the air that it drives him into a frenzy. This would make Warwick a threat if he is allowed to live. I also always felt like his E was too polarizing, and too exploitable. Being able to turn it off is a bit of a thematic contrivance for me, because saying that he is in control makes no sense. He is a monster, he should be out of control. To the point of it being polarizing, having it sort of on and off based on some hard value seemed odd, and I like the idea of his frenzy becoming gradually more pronounced.

Q: Wild Slash: Warwick swipes all enemies in a small area around him. This ability has a low cool down, deals moderate damage, and heals, but if under 5/4/3 enemies are hit, there is a chance Warwick will damage himself or a nearby ally.

Blood Rage: Wild Slash deals additional damage to enemies, but also slightly damages himself and nearby allies. (Warwick reduce allies below 10% health Wild Slash)

Notes: Warwick's current Q is thematically strong and very much a part of his identity. Personally, I'm a big fan of champion concepts that have risk factors, so this is my take on it. He should be so consumed by rage that he may accidentally hurt himself or others. I was not sure if I want him to be able to kill allies this way, maybe leaving that bit out as a mechanical requirement, otherwise trolling could get a bit out of control. This makes him a strong jungler also, which I've always felt is Warwick's niche, but also makes him a lane threat, as he can damage many minions at once. The damage would be low at early levels to mitigate his bullying potential.

W: Call of the Night Pack: Warwick howls, increasing his and allies' attack speed for a short duration. The duration is extended for each nearby friendly champion.

Blood Rage: Warwick gains a large amount of Tenacity. Nearby allies gain a small amount of Tenacity.

Notes: If Warwick's Q was immediately recognizable, then this ability is the very epitome of iconic. I didn't change much here, simply adding a Blood Rage enhancement that will make him difficult to hold down once he's on a rampage.

E: Brutal Dash: Warwick dashes a short distance, damaging all enemies in a line and healing for each enemy hit (think Wolverine's Berserker Barrage in Marvel v. Capcom, with the number of slashes he performs scaling with his AS).

Blood Rage: Brutal Dash can be cast for free with a severely reduced cool down

Notes: I'm sad to say I'm not so sure how well this ability fits into the kit. It feels very powerful from a thematic standpoint, but between this and his R (which I will address in a moment), I think level 6 power spikes could become a problem. That being said, I was thinking about how cool Berserker's Barrage is in MvC. A werewolf, claws out, coming at you swiping at high speed sounds so awesome. So that's where this comes in.

R: Infinite Duress: Warwick leaps in a line, suppressing and damaging the first champion hit. Infinite Duress itself does not deal much damage, but Warwick must be hit by 1/2/3 crowd control effects to stop the onslaught. Infinite Duress' cool down is reduced based on how much damage is dealt to the affected champion during its duration (This is halved if the ability is broken by CC). On a kill, the cool down is refunded (Not on assist).

Blood Rage: Infinite Duress' travel time is instantaneous and the ability cannot be stopped

Notes: Warwick is absolutely chock full of flavor. All of his current abilities really evoke the sense of a blood mad Werewolf, but no ability of his is more loved and/or hated than Infinite Duress. It's strength is clear, but I think it needed some tweaking. I know the fact that it is a line nuke style as opposed to targeted normally is problematic for some, who cry out that targeted spells are breathing their last raspy breaths. Maybe so, but once again I really enjoy the idea of him charging at you, latching on, and slashing away. This is also why I made it require a number of crowd control effects to break off. This makes it feel like he is so consumed in this rage-filled act, that it take more than a gentle nudge to get him off. Additionally, the idea of him becoming more blood mad as his enemy is damaged fits very well thematically, at least in my mind.

Lore: I would keep his lore more or less the same, with a couple tweaks.

He is a scientist still, who was creating a rage potion for the Noxian army to use at war. In his research, he stumbled upon great and terrible ways to alchemically infuse soldiers with the very aspect of battle (Darkin tie in maybe). He is close, but an unfortunate side effect of the tinctures is they transform the imbiber into awful grotesques. His research caught the eye of Soraka, who attempts to stop him by turning him from a genius into a dullard, for he knows not the depth and power of the secrets he is delving into, but she cannot, as a protector of life, kill him. A battle in his laboratory ensues, in which both him and Soraka fall against large shelves of the test potions, dousing themselves in it. In the final moment she attempts to save them both from the effects of the potion, but she is only moderately successful. Her form contorts into her current look, while Warwick is transformed by his rage and their blood, becoming a dullard yes, but an angry one.
