Abilities

Passive: Ash maidens call Julia has no magic or fury, Instead all her abilities cost ash. Ash is collected in the urns that she carries and can hold a max of 500 ash. Mana upgrades increase the amount each urn holds and mana regen increases the amount of ashes collected per death. If Her urn becomes full she drops half of the saved ash as an urn upon the ground that stealth’s. These urns can be collected by Julia as a quick refill or as a weapon. Ally champions that stand near the urns get a +0.5 mana regen when in their aura. If an enemy champion gains vision on the urn it can be destroyed with 3 hits and grants 20 gold. Ash capacity: 500 (Scales 70% with mana increase) Ash absorption: (Scales 70% with mana regen increase) Ally mana Regen from urn: +0.5 (Increases by +0.5 every "R" Level) Enemy Minion death = 10 Ally minion death = 20 Enemy Champion death = 100 Ally champion death = 150 Jungle monsters = 25 Large Jungle Monster = 50

Q:Maidens Dance (Reworked) RANGE: 300 SPEED: 1900 COST: 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 / 36 Ash COOLDOWN: 1.5 Julia invokes the Ashes of the dead upon her staff doing a 360 spin upon her peg leg dealing Hybrid damage. If an urn is with in Julia's range she hooks it upon her staff gaining access to "Maidens Volly" (Q) and "To ashes" (W). Every time she does the spin Julia changes direction going from clock wise to counter clock wise. (Urns can be hooked and will stay hooked till use.) AD: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 (+ 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70% bonus AD) (+ 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 / 55% AP)

Q:Maidens Volly (Reworked) RANGE: 1300 SPEED: 1400 COST: An urn COOLDOWN:5 With a urn hooked upon Julias staff, Julia tosses the urn in a chosen direction. Once the urn has hit a terrain, reached its max distance, or hit a champion the Urn shatters creating a cloud of ash in a small area. The cloud of ash causes slow and blind for all with in it. If a champion is directly hit by the urn it causes a 2s bleed. Bleed damage: 5/6/7/8/9 per half second Scales AD: 2/3/4/5/6%

W: Pole Vault (Reworked: Billcurme) RANGE: 450 SPEED: 2000 COST: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 Ash COOLDOWN: 30 Julia flips into the air stabbing her Staffs Hooks into the ground. If her polevault lands on a target causes true damage to the opponent and for a short duration they are both pinned down AD: 40 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 (+ 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80% bonus AD)

Secondary W: To Ashes (New) Cost: An urn After activating W "Pole Vault" if you have an Urn hooked already from "Maidens Dance" and have pinned a target with "Pole Vault" Julia will smash the urn into the ground. This releases both Julia and her target from the pin but marks the target. Marked Targets become near Sighted for 2s and remains marked for an additional second. Julia gains +30 movement speed moving away from marked targets. Allies gains +20 movement speed toward marked targets.

E: Flames of time: COST: 20 ash COOLDOWN: 20s Duration: 3/4/5/6/7 s Julia summons a circle of fire around target ally champion or her self that causes magic damage to all near by enemies. Julia receives double the ashes from any enemies killed by this ability. AP Damage: 6/8/10/12/14 s scales with AP: 10/15/20/25/30% Passive: If Julia has a urn hooked on her staff any with this ability upon them near her prescient gain a flat +5 Health regen. Passive scales with AP: 10%

R:Souls Forgotten: Cost: 350/325/300 ash Cooldown: 200/180/160 s
Duration: 3/3.5/4 s (+.5 per urn) Range: 550/575/600 (+5 per urn) Julia channels the ashes of Urtistan into a sandstorm around her that causes a (40% / 50% / 60%) slow in movement speed, attack speed, and projectile speed (jinxes rocket, ashes arrow, so on). The duration of the sandstorm increases in size and duration with every urn In the area of effect. While this effect is in place she becomes stationary.

“I'm from a city you have forgotten, let me help you join it.”

Urtistan was once one of the greatest cities in all of Runeterra. It was famously known as the City of Time, thanks to its trademark clock tower that dwarfed all other structures in Runeterra. Every morning, the inhabitants of the town would wake up to the sound of the clock tower's chimes, and every night they would sleep to its gentle lullaby. The city was peaceful, and only ever had one thing on its mind: the passage of time. Down to the last minute, the people of the town celebrated every moment; even in death, one's time was celebrated.

Julia was a proud Ash Maiden of Urtistan. Together with her sisters, they would use pyromancy to cremate any who died in the town, turning them to ash before putting them in an urn to deliver to their family. She could see no greater peace than that; she enjoyed bringing rest to the dead, and giving those who loved them in life a way to wish them peace in the beyond. She expected to be able to enjoy this life forever, until the armies of Noxus arrived.

Lead by Kled Kled , one of Noxus' fiercest military commanders, their armies fell upon the city like waves upon the shore. Julia and the Ash Maidens tried their best to defend the city, with a couple of visiting minotaurs from the mountain tribes to assist, but their efforts were for naught. With horror, Julia watched as Urtistan's time came. The city fell, and became engulfed in flames. Julia fought hard, but fell unconscious when struck in the head by an unknown force.

When she awoke, she found herself in a comfortable bed. The pervasive, echoing ticking sound told her she was inside the clock tower, miraculously untouched by the battle outside. Unable to see out of her left eye, and still dazed from the fight, she carefully got out of the bed and looked around, realizing she was near enough to look out the clock tower's window. Looking upon the city was like looking into one of her urns; it had all been burned to ash, save for the great clock tower.

She climbed down, hoping to find at least one other soul who survived. All she found was sand, skeletons, and buildings that looked like they hadn’t been touched in decades. Even the Ash Library, the place she'd once called home, had collapsed in on itself from the ravages of war and time. She had so many questions, and she could think of only one person might know what happened - the person who saved her. She vowed to find them, and get her questions answered; but first, she had to give a proper burial to all who had perished in the flames...

Friends: Zilean Zilean , Ekko Ekko , Jinx Jinx , Yorick Yorick , Alistar Alistar . Foes: All Noxus champions , Fiddlesticks Fiddlesticks (She hates surprises).

Trivia Julia is a member of the "Maidens of the Dawn". A religious group known for being the sister branch of the "Brethren of the Dusk". While the order is called "Maidens of the Dawn", members of it are often referred to as "Ash Maidens". However its been many years since the two orders have spoken and in truth many ash maidens have ether never heard of them or only learned of the brethren through books and tales.

In Julia's left eye there is a clock where her real eye should be. Left there by the mysterious figure who saved her, she now and for ever will only hear the ticking of the clocktower where she was saved. For some reason because of this eye, she feels as though she is forever stuck in the tower. No matter where she is, she will always feel as if shes still locked in the tower.

Julia has traveled the lands trying to figure out who is the mysterious stranger is who saved her. During these travels she some how ended up in Zaun where she provided her duties in the slums and helped many individuals morn those they lost.

The Minotaur of "The Great Barrier" often visited Urtistan before its fall. Here they would visit the maidens temple and provide them with plentiful fruit for their services to help morn the most noble of their chieftains. It was during these visits Julia would get to grab her favorite of all fruit, eggplants.

Julia is a fruitarian, mostly because she hates the idea of fire being used as anything other then light, or to be used to cremate.

Hello.

I followed the link you put in my own champ idea. Yeah, I think I can help with some statistics. I also have a few suggestions reagrding the abilities if that's not to presumptuous (mostly wording).

First of all, the statistics. For my own champ ideas, I tend to look at the current champions and try and imagine a balanced place for mine to squeeze in, based on similar champions.

Health: As a support/assassin, I imagine you intend to keep your champion rather squishy . As such, I suggest keeping your champion health somewhere between Heimerdinger (476) and Katarina (510). As your champion appears to be melee range, I would say slightly more hp (else you won't reach your opponents). Perhaps 500, with a moderate growth rate of 80 per level. HP Regen: If your hp is gonna be on the higher end as a support, I'd suggest balancing that with a lower hp regen. I.E if you get attacked, it hurts. Perhaps somewhere near Mordekaiser (4). As for growth, I'd say a slightly lower growth rate of 0.5. Ad: Alright, if your gonna be melee range and squishy, you need to want a reason to get up-close and personal. For Ad, start mid range (perhaps 56), with a growth rate around say 3.3 As: If you want to encourage attack speed scaling, start low, with high growth. Perhaps dance around 0.56, with a growth of 3% Armour: Your squishy. stay around 17, with around 3 per level Mr: As a support, MR is a bit nicer. Stay around 30. As for growth, usually only tanks get Mr growth. Ms: If your gonna make a champion like an acrobat, you should have higher movespeed. 340 is a nice movespeed, allowing you to weave your way towards your opponents.

As for your abilities. Let's start with your passive. I like your passive. It's an interesting alternative to mana and fury* (not furry :P) However, without any statistics for how much your abilities cost, jungle monsters giving 150 ash seems a little much, encouraging her more to be in the jungle than in lane as a support. maybe tone it down to small jungle monsters giving 25 ash, and large giving 50?

Next your q. True damage. Spamable true damage. My alarm bells are ringing. This seems like an incredibly powerful ability, especially as a basic one and her main source of damage. To make it fair, you'd either have to have it deal very little damage, or maybe switch the damage to magic. And maybe have the secondary ability apply a slow instead of a bleed. This fits more with the support aspect of your champion, giving her a more defined role. Sorta like:

Maiden's Dance (q): Julia does a quick spin on her peg leg, extending her staff to deal magic damage to all nearby enemies. If the staff hooks onto an urn, she gains access to Maiden's Volley.

Maiden's Volley tosses out the hooked urn in front of Julia as a skill shot. Enemies struck by the urn are slowed for 1 second. After the urn strikes an opponent or reaches the end of its range, it breaks open, summoning a cloud of ash that blinds and blocks vision of all enemies within.

Now your w. this is your most support-y ability (aside from your ult), though I have a little trouble warping my head around how ash makes you go faster. However, I don't see anything wrong mechanically with this ability.

Now your e. I like it, though I would clarify how it's cast. Perhaps use the wording 'Julia summons a circle of fire around target ally champion)

Your R. :D

All in all, seems like an interesting champ idea. I hope this helps you out, though if you don't like my ideas, feel free to ignore me entirely! Cheers

Given Kled's lore I'm not certain Noxus actually trusts him to lead an army, but other than that very interesting.

Um, I have a few question regarding her lore, specifically the timing, since it seems rather off to me. How old is Julia at this point in time?/Does she have some means(maybe the clock in her eye) to prolong her life beyond what is normal for humans?/Were there any means of prolonging one's life in an abnormal manner in Urtistan?

Now the commentary as to why I am asking this. The Ruined King's curse that created the Mist and turned the Blessed Isles into the Shadow Isles happened a few thousand years before current time, which means that she met Yorick even before that. But you also say that she was there when Noxus, with Kled at the helm no less, attacked Urtistan, which puts things a little off for me. Because Noxus was found at earliest(as far as I know) around the birth of the Shadow Isles(give or take a few centuries), and while Skarl is an immortal creature, Kled is not, so(considering we don't know how long Yordles live, but their lives most definitely do not reach half a millennium, at least not naturally) at best he has been around for two centuries(I'm being generous with Yordle life spans here, but it is possible that I am wrong and they are in fact shorter).

So...those are my concerns regarding the lore. As for her skills, I see in the comments below sufficient input has been given, since I do not know what to add, she does seem quite interesting in play style. I hope you find this useful.

Best regards!

As others have said, the passive is pretty cool. I also think the use of urns and her staff would give her a neat silhouette in-game. I'm not sure she needs to be manaless or if she should use 'ash' as a resource. I get it's for thematic / flavor purposes, but I'm not sure what it adds to her gameplay. I do like how she can drop the urns to pick them up later and that they stealth.

Her Q is fine, but the second active is unclear: does she Blind the enemy (100% miss chance) or Nearsight them (reduced vision radius, effectively making enemies untargetable)?

Her W is OK, but I dislike the True Damage (why True Damage?) and the second active of W is unclear: here you say Nearsight, but do you mean Nearsight or Blind? Either way, having two offensive Nearsight effects like this is very strong, and IMHO I feel like Nearsight as a mechanic should be saved for very specific champions and abilities (Eve and Nocturne come to mind, since they're both big on DARKNESSSS and Nearsight gives a player the feeling of being in the dark...).

Her E is fine, though I don't think it needs the passive component HP regen, and I want to point out that her E will also have 100% uptime if she gets 40% CDR, but maybe that was intentional.

Her R 'sandstorm' reminds me of Nasus and Renekton ultimate, but with the bonus of slowing projectiles. I feel like this ability is the least thematically connected to her (she's a champion about ashes and fire, but her ultimate deals with time because her lore deals with time?)

About her Lore: I'm a bit disappointed that of all the disasters that could've befallen Urtistan, you chose to go with Noxus invading. It makes Noxus feel even more 1 dimensional than they already are (they're evil Runeterran Nazis, we get it) and it doesn't really expand on the lore of Urtistan either. ("Everything was fine until the Fire Nation Noxians attacked.")

Just my thoughts though. If you want to give me your thoughts about my entry into the CCOS, feel free: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/cXq7B5Iw-champion-concept-imoen-an-honest-thief-yordle-support-marksman

Seriously think Julia could be a massive game changer and is very unique :D [slayer-jinx-catface]

Forhonor32110/7/2016, 2:09:02 AM1 votes

After reading everyone else's comments and looking over the concept myself I have a few things to say about her kit:

First, passive: Really like the feel of it. Very unique. Kinda feel like it rewards you a little more for your allies dying rather then helping kill your enemies though.

Q: Not quite sure why it's important for her to spin in the opposite direction. I'm not hating I'm just a little curious and confused. Also how does her alt Q work? you say in the first part it's when she's close to one, not necessarily when she has one. Again, I'm a little confused. Also the bleed from the alt Q doesn't really feel like it fits in that well, let alone I don't really know how much damage they take.

W: Kinda cringed when I say that it did true damage with a fairly high AD scaling, but then continued reading it and I suppose it does balance itself out. Alt of it is fairly interesting, but I would say have the near sight be a little longer then it is, like 2 maybe.

E: Fairly interesting for adding in a sunfire cape effect as an ability. I will say though that this part was a little hard for me to understand. How much damage does the fire do? Is this just a flat health regen? What do you mean the passive scales with AP? Do you mean the health regen increases based on your % AP? You may want to look back at this and possibly word it a little more clearly.

R: Love the ult. It's like a Nunu's R but a little more interesting.

And those are just my thoughts. Aside from a few problems of understanding some things this looks promising. Keep it up.
