Lore

While his brother Heinreich had always been the one groomed to lead the family, the younger brother Deidreich, had largely been left to his own devices. From an early age, he had taken a keen interest in hunting and trained in a wide variety of firearms. He often slipped past the watchful gaze of his governess to wander to the craftsman district of the city, where he loved to watch guns being made.

One day, he met the young daughter of a local gunsmith named Maria, who showed him her father's place of work and all the tools and furnaces used in crafting the guns he loved. The two of them spent the day together, and as dusk fell, they headed to the Night Market to buy sweet cakes from the vendors. On the way however, they ran into a group of thugs from a would be street gang, one of many that had begun to crop up in recent years since his father's ineffectual governance began.

Together, Deidreich and Maria beat back the thugs, and earned a reputation among the urchins of the city. In a short time, they had their own gang, and would get into turf wars protecting the city that his family created. As their adventures mounted, the love between Deidreich and Maria grew.

On his seventeenth birthday, Maria gave Deidreich an exquisite hand-crafted shotgun, and Deidreich promptly asked her to marry him.

But their love was not to last. Upon announcing the news to his father, Gottfried Von Gasspian erupted in a manic rage. Taking a poker to his younger son, the usually self-absorbed and uninterested Gasspian patriarch broke Deidreich's leg and and arm, and left him bedridden for several weeks. During that time, he had Maria tracked down and brought to the manor. Once Deidreich could be moved again, he had his son brought to the manor courtyard, where he forced him to watch as the guards slowly tortured her to death. No son of his would wed a smith's urchin.

When at last Deidreich recovered from his wounds and could return to his gang in the city, they found him a changed man. No longer the street champion of the disenfranchised, Deidreich sought only more and more brutal street fights. Rumors began circling that those that fought against Deidreich would be dragged off to be used as human hunting sport. Most unnerving of all, he would often be seen talking to his shotgun, who he now called Maria.

"Come and fight me, Maria and I would love a game of sport!"

Abilities

(Passive)Adaptive Arsenal: Deidreich's basic attacks give him a stack of Armament (max 5). When Deidreich's uses an ability he consumes these stacks to augment the effect.

Additionally, using an ability causes Deidreich's next basic attack to have 33% increased range and deal damage in a small AOE around his target.

(Q)Adhesive Grenade: Deidreich's kicks a grenade coated in a sticky poison to target enemy. The target is slower by 25% (+10% per stack of Armament) for 4 seconds or until the grenade explodes.

If Deidreich damages the target with a basic attack, the grenade explodes, dealing 20/40/60/80/100 (+10% AD) immediately, and poisoning for 30/60/90/120/150 (+25% AD) damage over 2 seconds. Poisoned enemies are slower for the initial slow amount for the duration.

(W) Blunt Force Blunderbuss: Deidreich quickly readies a Blunderbuss and fires, dealing 15/35/55/75/95 (+60/70/80/90/100% AD) to targets in a cone and knocking them back. Damage dealt is increased by 5% per stack of Armament.

(E) Pit Trap: After a 1 second channel, Deidreich sets up an invisible trap at an adjacent location. Deidreich may have 1/1/2/2/3 traps active at a time. This channel is reduced by .2 seconds per stack of Armament.

If an enemy moves or is moved onto the pit trap, it triggers, stunning and revealing them for 1.5 seconds and dealing 50/95/140/185/230 (+15% AD) damage over 4 seconds, dealing high damage at first and weakening over time.

(R)Mobile Artillery: Deidreich dashes to the other side of target enemy and fires a heavy munition at close range, dealing 100/200/300 (+20% AD) to all nearby enemies and knocking them and Deidreich directly away from the point between Deidreich and his target. The range of Mobile Artillery is increased by 5% per stack of Armament.

I have reworked Deidreich's kit. He now focuses on weaving attacks and abilities to maximize potential.
