The core basis for this weird concept is to be an assassin or a fighter. The idea I toyed with is controlling one foe in particular with your combination of damage, and vision control, essentially scaring them out of the battle with the treat of being gutted by the beast(s) in the fog. But for now the Alpha run of this kit with some hand scrawled and photographed pictures by yours truly! ( I hope you'll excuse the lowish quality of them, it's the best I can muster for now!)

Ikserksess

The Faded One

Tales of old speak of a mist, different than those brought by the Harrowing, on a much smaller scale. But the events within these vaporous area have always been regarded with an air of horror. A creature of an ancient time is said to make this pale mist its domain. Something of nightmares, that stalks from the fog it brings.

One such tale speaks of a strange mist that descends upon a village, it veils the area completely. Anyone who attempts to leave simply vanishes. Those who stay boarded up in their homes soon vanish too. The village is left as a eerie ghost-town days later. Scrawling and drawings left behind depicting a strange quadruped that stalks in the mist, seemingly alone at first, but a pack of them appearing in the last day of their attack.

As to what this strange creature want's, or what its purpose is, is anyone's guess.

Ikserksess's Kit:

Passive: Stalker in the fog When the game begins everyone will hear Ikserksess's laugh, while a de-buff forms on them. The de-buff named Stalkers Brand, causes the following effect on enemy champions: Whenever Ikserksess comes within 1000 units and is visible, the champion will flee in terror for 1 second. This de-buff is temporarily removed from every other enemy champion once activated, and will not be able to be reactivated on the same target for another 12 seconds. Upon leaving vision for 5 seconds the passive re-applies to all as normal. (Prioritizes the nearest enemy champion)

So, the general idea of this passive is the psychological aspect of seeing this creature running at you, You get that little jump of "Oh god, it's coming for me!" Before either running to the safety of your tower, or getting ganked for being too far out! Wards are your best friend against this passive!

Q (Active) Forgotten in the fog: Ikserksess turns invisible for a few seconds. While invisible it may cast one spell without breaking this field. Any damage taken, or casting another spell or autoattacking breaks the stealth instantly. However, when the stealth breaks this causes Ikserksess to have a greatly increased movement speed for 2 seconds. (Can be denied completely with CC) Movement speed buff: 10/15/20/25/30% Invisibility duration: 3/5/7/9/11 seconds Cast time: 1 second Mana cost: 90 Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds (Doesn't go on CD until the invisibility ends)

So, this is critters main utility. Invisibility, fun spell interaction. And to clarify this interacts with their ultimate, providing some really mean and sneaky assassination power.

W (Active) Lies in the mist: Causes the fog of war to warp around an enemy champion of its choosing with in a moderate range, reducing their vision radius for a short time. For the duration of this de-buff, Ikserksess's next auto-attack consumes the de-buff, dealing moderate damage and slowing them. (This can be cast on monsters as well) Damage: 20/40/60/80/100 + 100% of total AD (Classed as an on hit effect) Slow: 10/20/30/40/50% decaying over 3 seconds Mana cost: 60 Cooldown: 16/15.5/14/14.5/13 seconds Range: 780 units Vision reduction: 300 units around the target Vision reduction duration: 1.5 seconds Cast time: .5 seconds

The go too slow, the vision reduction works off of the whole idea of veiling its prey in mist before slaughtering it. This is gonna hurt. Yeah, that's about it for this one.

E (Double active) Expel / Manifest: First activation: Launches forth a bolt of incorporeal energy that latches into the first champion in its path dealing damage to them. Second activation: Materializes at the location in which the champion currently stands, re-dealing half of the spells initial damage. (Can't be recast if the target leaves a certain range or is killed. And if the blink is successful, Ikserksess is placed a short distance behind the target)) **Damage:**40/60/80/100/120 + 60% total ad Mana cost: 80 Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds Range: 600 units Re-cast range: 400 units Cast time: .3 seconds Skillshot

Fun gap-closer shenanigans, solid damage, but not too over the top I feel.

R (Active) Whispering Mists: Shrouds the area around him with a thick mist, denying vision outside of the veiled area. While inside of the area Ikserksess creates copies of itself that can move through units and do a portion of his damage. The number of copies created (From here on called specters) are equal to the number of champion in the area when it was cast and the rank of the spell. These creatures have a percentage of Ikserkses maximum hp and resistances, and deal a portion of its bonus AD per auto-attack and grant 10g on kill (Their attack speed and movement speed are the same as Ikserksess's own). Once the initial casts effects end, Ikserksess gains a burst of movement and attack speed. (Specters die at the end of the effect any attack animations in progress will be canceled!) (Targets being struck by multiple take only 25% of the damage from the additional specters attacking them.) (Specters prioritize champions over minions!) Damage type: Physical Number of specters per champion: 1/2/3 Number of maximum specters: 5/9/13 Specter damage: 30/60/90+ 30/60/90% bonus AD Specter hp and resistances: 9//12/15% Mist duration: 5/7/9 seconds Movement speed: 15/25/35% **Attack speed:**10/20/30% Buff duration: 4 seconds Area: 800/900/1000 Mana cost: 120 Cooldown: 90/80/70 seconds Cast time: Instant

Ikserksess's Ultimate was originally conceptualized as the Q ability and had an extra effect of being able to end it early for a small pop of damage. I deemed that it didn't seem to fit for a core spell when the ultimate I had in line was quite a lackluster in comparison (The current Q). And for clarification, no one can see into the veiled area and no one can see out. You can just walk out of it though, so that works!

Stats: Base HP: 499 **HP Growth: **+92 (2063 @ level 18) Base Mana: 370 Mana Growth: 52.55 (1263.35 mana @ level 18) Base HP Regen: 1.5 hp (per second) (7.5hp per 5) **HP Regen Growth: **0.0311 (2.0287 regen per second @ level 18) (10.1435 per 5) **Mana Regen: **1.113 (5.567 per 5) Mana Regen Growth: 0.023 (1.504) (7.5 per 5 @ level 18) Base Attack Damage: 55 Attack Damage Growth: 3.91 (121.47 AD @ level 18) Attack Speed: 0.6331 **Attack Speed Growth:**0.0133 (0.8592 attack speed @ level 18) Movement Speed: 330 Attack Range: 210 Armor: 25.33 Armor Growth: 2.19 (52.57 armor @ level 18) Magic resistance: 29.98 Magic Resistance Growth: 1.11 (48.85 MR @ level 18)

Line ideas:

Selection quote: The mists encroach once more.

Attacking:

  • Flee, it makes the game more fun. -Trying to fight what you can't kill? Worthless.
  • Mortals meet their end by my claws.
  • Limb from limb....

Movement:

  • So long I've waited..
  • They will know.
  • Listen to their melodious screams...
  • I want to hear them sing more.
  • Silent I follow, loud I strike.

Joke: -I'm just blowing off some steam. -Oh, no! They can see right through me!

Taunt:

  • Only a fool doesn't know when to run.
  • No matter how far you go, this mist will follow.

(All I have for now!)
