Ramrod, the Legendary Angler.

An idea for a champion whose theme is jungle-fishing. Enter Ramrod, the Legendary Angler. Inspired very thematically by the legend of Urashima Tarō. "I've been fishing in these waters a loooong time girl, I remember before that Gangplank became a man. I remember before the Harrowing came to our town, hell, I remember before that bearded lady cult popped up. I've been here longer than your grandaddy was here, and I'll sure as hell will remember your rampage across these waters when you're gone. Cos ya see, every catch I make, makes my life a little longer..."

Ramrod is a champion themed entirely around the jungle, much like Kindred, he spends most if not all his time there.

When he fishes, he reels in monsters to him. Pulling them in like the guppies he fishes in the slaughter-docks, he can then kill them to gain a passive boost. Every catch he makes in his side of the jungle slowly makes him better. But like Wolf, he also gets a boost from catching marks in the enemy jungle. Both of them make him into a very aggressive and at the same time defensive champ. His Passive, Wharfmaster is one themed around what catch he's personally gotten. A wolf will give him a small increase to ward vision, and a Toad will give him an extra poison effect to his E for several strikes. It does not gain any extra effect with dragons, Barons, or Rift Scuttlers. It can stack with smite buffs but it rewards players for being strategical and not using a smite for a buff they don't want. Want to kill a Reaper but don't want to waste a smite on it? Wharfmaster can give you an option to briefly see other catches when you near them in the jungle, giving you a brief bit of forewarning if a particularly daring Yi wants to steal your catch and is waiting to ambush you.

With his Q, Hookshank, he reels his catch in to begin killing it and preparing it for his feast. But he can also reel himself to a champion for a quick clash before reeling himself out if the going gets tough. Useful for bring either buff monsters, the toad, or a wolf out into the open for your usage. Or for yanking a catch from an enemy jungler so you can take it for yourself. "Every catch has its own temper girl, you can't catch a kraken the same way you catch a serpent."

His W, Trawler, is a passive, the more catches he makes, he'll get a small increase to the % of damage he does to other catches, so he can go from doing piddly damage in the early game, to late game soloing dragon and baron by himself. When he actives it he can deal a set amount of damage to an enemy champion for a quick burst of damage before a long cool down. "How many times boy do I need to tell you, you need patience to fish a proper meal, don't listen to smooth talking conmen who give you an easy catch, they don't know the half of how to get a proper catch."

His E, Fly Fishing, is a quick dash and strike to a target, dealing extra damage to monsters and a certain percentage strike to Buff monsters. Against champions it's another catch entirely, he'll stun an opponent very briefly before bouncing off them, which gives his Q great synergy if you can time it well. "Son, I told you once, I told a thousand times, you ain't gonna catch fish with a gun, you gotta use the right bait and the right rod to get them hooked."

His R, Sea Palace, is basically a stun in a box. By releasing all of the captured lives he's caught, he can briefly stun an team and steal their catch from them. The amount of time stunned scales very minutely but noticeably with the more catches he's gotten, a full scale will be upwards of two to three seconds, a normal R will be half a second, which will make all the different when you want to steal a baron or a Dragon or instigate a team fight. "I told you girl, I ain't gonna die before you do...Take a look inside of my here box, and you'll see how many others have died for my life to continue..."

He'd primarily be an Hybrid Mage, his E and Q can scale equally off attack damage as well as AP. Tell me your thoughts and I hope this idea isn't too silly.

I like how you role played him as a dirty old man

(Actually does look like a cool champ tbh)

Oh wow, that is a COINCIDENCE! Among the ugly plethora xP of champions I'm conceptualizing, one of them is a fisherman too :D, however he is more magical, and fishes between different realms and dimensions. You have inspired me to complete him :)
