Arkas grew up in a small farmhouse in the low slopes of Mount Targon. His parents were devote members of the iron solari and he was raised to have much admiration for the sun, even so Arkas found himself being transfixed by not only the sun but the moon as well. Arkas never told his parents this somehow knowing that it was wrong. Soon after turning eighteen Arkas's parents were given a heretic relic to hide and keep from hands that would use it for evil. A week later a band of bandits raided the farmhouse, killed his parents, and made off with the heretic relic. He had been gravely wounded during the raid but pursued the bandits anyway. After traveling many miles and even after losing the bandit's trail Arkas stumbled forward, the sun hung above and it's warmth was the only thing beating back the cold that was consuming his body. Even so, Arkas soon passed out. A hermit who lived close by found him and brought him back to his house in the woods. After Arkas woke up the hermit convinced him not to chase after the bandits, and to lose the life that his parents loved more than even the sun's light. In return the hermit taught him and trained him for the Solar Games, the greatest show of individual strength. After three years of grueling training He left the hermit for Solaris the capital city of Mount Targon and the theater of the Solar Games. Arkas was unable to join the Solar Games because of the scar from the wound that the bandits gave him. "Only unmarked and perfect people may compete for the sun's favor here", he was told. On his way out of the city Arkas found himself in the path of a hulking man clad in armor covered in the sign of the moon. The man was rampaging through the city killing anything that got in his way. Arkas armed himself with stones and the occasional spear or shield dropped by the dead guards. Arkas drove him from the city and continued to fight him for three days and two nights. On the third day the heavily fatigued and beaten Arkas raised his hand to the sun and begged it for the power to protect the people of Solaris. The sun bestowed upon him a javelin made of condensed sunlight, the Piercing Light. Arkas threw the Piercing Light and it struck the armored man tearing his armor through his armor and exploding. The man fell to the ground and did not stand up. Arkas stumbled back to Solaris. When Arkas got back to Solaris they welcomed him as a hero and bestowed upon him the raiment of the Champion usually bestowed upon the winner of the Solar Games. With his new power and having forgotten his promise to the hermit Arkas set out to find the bandit who had murdered his parents and have him face justice for his crimes.

Passive
Runner: Arkas gains scaling movement speed as he hits enemies with auto attacks
Effect: Arkas gains 5/10/15% bonus movement speed at 1/2/3 auto attacks and keeps it for 2.5 seconds.
1st Spell (Q)
Shot Put: Arkas throws a heavy stone forward with great effort taking 1 second and staggering an opponent if hit.
Effect: Shot put deals 30/60/120/140/160 (+1.2 AD) and stuns the target for a short duration (about as long as jinx snare)
Mana: 50/55/60/65/70 CD: 10/8/6/6/6 seconds
2nd Spell (W)
Pass the Baton: Arkas throws a baton at an enemy champion, slowing them as they move away from Arkas and speeding Arkas up as he moves toward the champion with the baton. If the champion dies while they have the baton Arkas gets bonus movement speed for a short time.
Effect: Champions effected by the baton are slowed by 5/10/15/20/25% while moving away from Arkas and Arkas' movement speed increases by 10/10/15/20/20% as he moves toward the champion with the baton. The baton disappears after 2 seconds or when the champion dies. If the champion dies Arkas gets 25% more movement speed for 2 seconds.
Mana: 40 CD: 10/10/9/9/8 seconds
3rd Spell (E) Discus Throw: Arkas throws a discus that bounces to other enemies dealing amped damage to the baton holder.
Effect: The discus hits the first target dealing 25/50/75/100/125 (+1.0 AD) damage to all targets and homes in on champions. If a champion carrying the baton is hit with the discus they take 50/75/100/125/150 (+1.0 AD).
Mana: 75/85/95/100/110 CD: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds
4th Spell (R)
Piercing Light: Arkas throws a javelin made of condensed sunlight at an enemy destroying their armor.
Effect: Solar javelin hits an enemy unit dealing 200/225/250 (+1.0 AD) and all auto attacks for the next 3/4/5 seconds ignore 15/35/55 % of the afflicted unit's armor.
Mana: 100 CD:120/100/80 seconds
