Zalia, The Emotionless (New Champion Idea)
Zalia Lore Zalia was a young orphan on the streets of Zaun. One day she was kidnapped by a scientist who lobotomized her so that she would never be able to make decisions again for she could not weigh the difference between kindness as evil. Good and bad. Help or hurt. As she grew she began to lose everything as she was unable to feel pity or remorse but also anger or pain. She only felt survival and was willing to do anything for it. She killed many a children to steal a penny or two from their hand and murdered in public to steal a few fruit from a street vendor. Eventually the murders got out of hand and she was taken off of the street by a gang who quickly realized how troublesome she would be and quickly put her up for sale. A curious scientist bought her for cheap in a hope for a human guinea pig. The scientist had been experimenting on creatures he stolen from the sacred woods of Ionia. THe most curious of these creatures where Avan and Eetha. Small animals who levitated could bend the will of all human subjects they touched. Those who touched Avan would be filled with rage and sorrow and attack those around them, despite who they were. THose who touched Eetha were immediately overcome with kindness and love and devoted themselves to the animal, protecting it from the doctor. The doctor chained the sedated Zalia down, now in early adulthood, and forced her to touch both creatures at the same time. Suddenly, Zalia began seizing as the forces of good and evil began to fight over the emotionless being until she eventually passed out. Entranced, the doctor watched as the animals calmed down and simply began to move around Zalia, surprisingly tranquil but they always seemed to be as far apart as they could as if avoiding each other. When Zalia awoke, Avan and Eetha broke her chains. Zalia, now standing with these floating beings of black and white orbiting her, she attacked the doctor. As the doctor verged on life and death, Zalia healed him and left. As time went on, there were more and more near death experiences in a pathway to Ionia. Rumors of a woman who had ever changing beings floating around her shooting down foes only to bring them back to life. The councils of both Demacia and Noxus came looking for this woman in hopes of turning her to their side only to have their soldiers say the same theme. Eventually, no one knows how. This girl ended up in the summoners league. No one knows how or why. She was just there, mute except for the animals on her shoulders. The devil and angel. (Thus lore was done quickly and is definitely subject to change)

Abilities Passive - Zalia has 2 floating beings named Avan (black) and Eetha (white). Every time Zalia auto attacks, one of the beings will attack and then switch to the other. For example, Avan attacks and then your next auto attack will be by Eetha. Your abilities will have different effects depending on the being that is attacking. Q - Your next auto attack deals 1/2/3/4/5% of target's current health (+1.15 ad) Avan - your next auto attack will slow for 30/35/40/45/50% for .75 second. If the Attack crits, it stuns instead for .15/.25/.35/.45/.6 seconds. Eetha - Your next auto attack will create a shield that absorbs 50/80/110/140/200 (+.4 ad). If your attack crits it heals instead of barriers for the same amount. W - Zalia gains increases her crit chance, movespeed, and attack speed by 10/15/20/25/30% for the next 4 autos. E - Your auto next attack applies a triangular mark. Avan - Once you use your auto attack, you teleport directly next to the attacked champion. Eetha - Once you use your auto attack, you teleport 500 meters away from them. R - Zalia creates a circle where allied abilities cast within the circle cooldowns are reduced by 10/20/30% while all enemies cooldowns casted inside the circle are increased by 5/10/15%. (This exceeds the 45% and 0% cap). Or Zalia creates a field around her. When she auto attacks the ground around her erupts, knocking up enemies for .1 seconds and dealing 50, 100, 150 (+.3 ap) magic damage.
Character Design Zalia is a person from the city of Zaun and should such dress in that manner. But also remember she was poor and probably hasn't changed clothes since the experiment went wrong.So she should look dirty. Now I have 2 ideas for her other areas of design You can either imagine her possessed by Eetha and Avan and such she just walks as the animals seem to do everything, including shooting off her auto attacks. Or you can look at her as being one with the beings and is such moving with them with her own weapons that these creatures turn into. You can also make a bow where the arrows change colors. You got options.
**What I was trying to accomplish ** Overall - So I'm a player that only really plays league anymore because they have started instituting champions who have an infinite way of playing them such as Gangplank and Aurelion Sol. Basically there is a definitive of these in every role but the real play makes in adc are very limited. You may have big play makers but in reality these guys are always boiled down to just auto attacking or nerfed so much they lose value in being played. Such I wanted to create someone in the ad category who could be punished. That's why her E push back is longer than her range. Ability Wise - As I said before I was looking for someone mechanical. Sadly I have no idea how to balance so please help me if you can. That’s the main reason I didn’t give her mana costs or cooldowns just yet. I would like her to be mid to late game though with a bit of good early laning. The whole point of the Q ability was to create a pealing ability and a chasing ability with a bit of fight in between but also creating something where you would have to carefully calculate what your next attack would be and have to accommodate for that. Her W is a basic way to combo with her q, give pushing potential, and allow for switching at higher frequencies with a tad bit of that kiting or chase. Her E in my opinion is perfect. It could be devastating or beautifully powerful. If you use it wrong it either costs your kill or life. I put it at 50 over her attack range so it will be hard to chase back if she messes up and right next to them so that if it's accidentally an assassin she's screwed. And finally the ultimate, OK I know it's mildly op but it addresses her final weakness. She has a lot of peel and I wanted this to go with that theme and if not turn her into a more support based ADC like Ashe. Basically the first version would make people with 45% CDR borderline in URF and those who have no CDR in NERF. I left the duration up to change as well as whether or not it does just one of those things since you do always have the Eetha and Avan mechanic. The second one is actually something that I heard of in a previous Riot champion idea but who knows if the source was reliable. This though was on a hypothetical tank though so I think the attacking and having it happen is better. Plus if she can't auto then it becomes useless. It is also focused around her making it more peel or more a slow engage that will get your ADC killed late game. Anyways, thanks for reading if you made it this far.
