No, I'm not Loiza-chan ... also, I don't believe that Popstar looks like pink, lacy, military-inspired J-pop for every single champion. That's my opinion.
While Loiza does fantastic work, and goodness knows the cosplayers have loved her designs ... nevertheless, I believe Loiza has forgotten one huge fact:
Every musician is different, and hence every star and every singer is different.
Ekko, as the Zaun poster child, represents the underbelly of Piltover, and his genius is unmatched. Hendrix was the last great guitar player. He set guitars on fire, both literally and figuratively, and he actually strung his guitars in reverse. The Stratocaster, which was Hendrix's instrument of choice, is much like Ekko's zero-drive. It is his hope and his dream in one. The guitar allowed a poor young black man to enter the white-male-dominated rock halls, and like most underdogs, Hendrix surpassed them all. His death was accidental.
Cobain, who actually forced himself to play guitar left-handed out of respect for Hendrix, was a wounded soul. He, like Hendrix, had very humble beginnings. Cobain hoped to be recognized as a singer-songwriter, but the media was more taken with his appearance, and his wife, and his child. Ezreal, the wasteful spendthrift blond-haired son of Piltover, is the extravagant yet lonely rock idol who struggles with the burden of legacy. His death was on purpose.
Freddie Mercury, the splendid performer, had the greatest singing voice of all time. He taught himself to sing. Mercury had impressive range and color ... He was truly an opera-like rock star, and his showmanship is unmatched. Draven, who lives for the thrill of the crowd, is the inheritor of natural talent and unspoken pain and heartbreak. He spins his axes much like Mercury would spin his mic stand. Mercury was a gay man who fell prey to AIDS in an era that demonized people like him. His death was accidental.
