Aatrox update idea, Lead Initiation/Team Sustain off-support

To the point, I got bored and made this.

Passive - Blood Well 225/200/175/150 second static cooldown

Aatrox takes the blood from his health costs and 2% of damage dealt from basic attacks and stores it; capping at 250-1230 (based on level); able to use it for other purposes.

Aatrox gains 0.3%-0.55% (based on level) bonus attack speed for every 1% in his Blood Well, up to a maximum of 30%-55% (based on level) bonus attack speed.

Upon taking fatal damage, Aatrox is cleansed of all debuffs, enters stasis and drains his Blood Well, healing himself for 35% of Blood Well's maximum capacity over the next 3 seconds (+ 100% of Blood Well's stored health) up to a maximum of 337 - 1660 (based on level) health.

Q - Dark Flight 10% current HP upon hitting the ground, 20/18/16/14/12 second cooldown, 500-750 range

Aatrox channels and increases the cast range, knockup area, knockup duration and damage by up to 50% over 3 seconds for up to 6 seconds. Upon reactivation, Aatrox leaps up and dives to target area, knocking up enemies in the epicenter for 1-1.5 seconds (based on time channeled), and dealing 90/140/190/240/290 (+50% used HP) - 135/210/285/360/435 (+75% used HP) physical damage to enemies in range. (This ability has no cost if it is cancelled)

W - Blood Thirst/Blood Price Toggle ability

PASSIVE: Every third hit, Aatrox empowers his auto attack with bonus effects.

TOGGLE OFF: BLOOD THIRST: Aatrox heals himself for 20/30/40/50/60 (+40% bonus AD). While Aatrox is below 50% maximum health, the heal is doubled. AOE BONUS: 9/13/17/21/25% of all self healing done by this auto attack is also healed to all nearby allied champions.

TOGGLE ON: BLOOD PRICE: Aatrox consumes a portion of his health to deal 60/95/130/165/200 (+100% bonus AD) bonus physical damage. AOE BONUS: For 3 seconds, nearby allied champions gain 6/7/8/9/10% bonus attack speed and 15% movement speed towards enemy champions. Aatrox benefits from the movement speed, but not the attack speed.

E - Blade of Torment 15% maximum blood well, 16 second cooldown, 325 range

Aatrox lenthens and empowers his sword for 5 seconds, inceased by .5 seconds every auto attack, capping at 8 second duration. During this time, Aatrox gains attack range (does not stack with ult range) and his auto attacks slow by 5% for 1 second, with each attack refreshing the duration and stacking up to a 20% slow while also dealing 3% of the target's maximum health as bonus magic damage on hit, with the first two auto attacks dealing 40/65/90/115/140 (30% AP) (+50% bonus AD) bonus magic damage.

R - Massacre 10% current health, 90/80/70 second cooldown, 600 damage radius/325 attack range/1000 ally heal/AD radius, 700 cone range

Aatrox draws in the blood of his foes, dealing 180/230/280 (+20 per champion hit) magic damage to all enemies around him, filling his Blood Well by 20% and healing for 3% of his maximum health per champion hit, gains attack range and 50/55/60% attack speed for 12 seconds. During this time, Aatrox's basic attack's cleave, dealing 50% AD physical damage to enemies in a 90° cone infront of him. (Life Steal is applied to damage dealt by cleave, and for clarification, the cleave is not on-hit so it will not proc twice with a rageblade stacked) Every champion he hits with a basic attack/cleave increases nearby allied bonus AD by 2/3/4, stacking up to a cap of 40/60/80 bonus AD

Strengths:

  • Extreme buff to his initiation/teamfighting overall

  • Great addition to squishy teams, since this will likely make him build tankier due to the increased base healing on W and % scaling damage on Q, alongside the AOE healing

  • Very good at bush surprises and setting up ganks

Weaknesses:

  • Nerf to his laning phase with the complete change of his E

  • Long channel time on Q, which can be cancelled by hard CC or displacement spells easily
