(Idea) Legacy Skins Through Hextech Crafting

Hey, I've been a player for years and I think it would be insanely awesome if some of the super duper old legacy skins from way back when would be available in hextech boxes.

What if skins like Human Ryze, Black Alistar, King Rammus, etc were available in boxes but they would only be like a .1% chance and cost a huge investment of orange essence to unlock? That way we can see these old skins back in action but in limited availability. Maybe do it like how CS:GO does it where you can get rewarded boxes by linking your twitch account and your league account and when you watch tourneys you have a shot to get a "Legacy box" that has a super low chance of dropping these skins.

It's truly sad to see some of these old epic skins not in use anymore because either the players from years ago have matured and moved on, or they have just sold/quit league all together.

Obviously skins like Championship Riven, and Pax TF wouldn't be available because you earned those through codes/after world.

Just an idea though.

King Rammus and UFO Corki fall into this list as well. These were special event giveaway skins which will never be made available by any other means.

But, the good news is, legacy skins are most definitely available through crafting! I've got several legacy skin shards sitting in my loot right now. They're indicated by a little round icon thingy in the bottom left of the portrait.

They are. To my knowledge literally every single skin and champion can be found in a box.
