Klink, the Forgotten Hero.

I've written the lore and come up with an ability beta for a champion we call Klink. I was also working desperately to have someone come up with a concept art, but any artistically inclined people we found were female, and much more interested in drawing chibi kittens. Ugh.

LORE

The Tragedy of Althorn, Bulwark of Hope

Once pure, Althorn battled fiercely in the struggle of the Rune Wars. He was a bulwark of hope amongst his bretheren, viewed as a glint of purity in a bleak and unforgiving world. His heart was said to be forged in steel, unrelenting in whatever path he chose. Although his motives were assumed to be pure in entirety, Althorn himself was shrouded in mystery.

However, that which would not bend, may still be broken.

Althorn, his company scattered by a profound, blinding lilac shine, found himself alone in a blazing field of arrows, blades, and bodies. As his eyes scanned the worn land for any significant signs of life, he peered into an unrelenting amethyst energy unlike that which he had ever seen. This energy must be the Void.
Although he tried to flee, Althorn found his attempts futile as he was drawn into the emptiness of the Void. There he wandered, dragging with him the weight of his armor, now poisoned with the crippling corruption of the abyss. His sword and shield fractured by the writhing infection of the Void. In time, his name was lost, for there was no one to ask it of him. He forgot his past, and as the darkness of the Void seeped through his armor, it slowly began to break the steel casing of his heart. Purity had been replaced by corruption. Love, replaced by hatred. Althorn let himself slip further into the abyss, his mind following his heart in being twisted into a vile, battle hungry state. He felt deprived, lustful, desperate to fight.
Upon emerging at last from the endless depth of dark, he lumbered across the lands, slaying any he found in his path. Over time, he found the Institute of War, and thought the League of Legends a suitable home for his bloodlust. He needed a title. Something he could be known by.
He chose the one thing that haunted each maliced step further into the endless abyss. The unbearable, pestering sound presented by the weight of his armor.

Klink, (the Forgotton Hero).

"My armor is heavier with the weight of the Void...and my blade more volatile." ~Klink

ABILITIES:

PASSIVE: Heart of the Bulwark - Klink's tainted armor absorbs 5 armor and magic resist for every champion slain on the fields of justice.

Q: Pull of the Void - Klink hurls his sword toward the enemy champion, if struck, it pierces them, and he may reactivate the ability to be pulled to his blade. If not, the sword will fall to the ground, and he must reclaim it manually. (Or after 3 seconds of being untouched) While whithout his blade, however, his Physical Damage is reduced by 10%

W: Void Pulse - Upon activation, Klink will absorb 5%>10%>20%>30%>50% of damage dealt by all single-target spells, and after the duration ends, he will emit a pulse of Void energy, applying a damage over time effect to all champions hit in a radius around him(scaling with damage absorbed).

E: Tainted Blade - Passive: Klink's basic attacks apply a stack of corruption, dealing damage over time (AD scaling) Active: Klink's blade draws the energy of the corrupt, snaring any champions with 5 stacks of corruption, otherwise only slowing.

R: Sword of the Void - Klink's sword radiates with Void power, extending his basic attack range, and making him STUN enemy champs with 5 stacks of corruption. Additionally, his basic attacks sweep in a cone in front of him, dealing reduced damage to all enemy champions in the area.

Please let me know what you think, and if you're artistically inclined, do not hesitate to say so. I'd love to have someone draw up the concept art. I really hope Riot can consider accepting my champion idea. ^_^

I like this champion concept. As I red the lore, I felt bad for the guy. He was a good man corrupted to become someone like, Sion. The only other champion I felt bad for was Yasuo. For is Q ability, I think that if you miss, the sword on the ground should last for 10 seconds, giving the person a reason to not miss. also, if he throws the sword, and reactivates the ability, I think it should drag the champion towards him from half of the distance.
