This was a champion concept I started thinking of when I realised that although league of legends has yordle champions it has no goblin type creatures, with goblins being notoriously greedy this also give me the idea of using gold as a resource which I thought was interesting since it would give the character a unique twist.

Lore: Sometimes business doesn’t always go smoothly, but isn’t that what mercenaries are for? Rogaz has built his empire on a mountain of dodgy deals and forced hands using every trick in the book, his own book that is, to get to the top. Bilgewater has always been the perfect home for greedy creatures such as himself, with many deals to be made and profits to be had, not all of them legal, the company of pirates and other people with goals almost as ambitious as his own make for good competition and even better targets. However goblin greed is a dangerous thing and a full bag of gold will never fill the ambitions of this Hoarder of riches. Now Rogaz takes to the league of legends to see just how large his throne of gold can climb. After all, Money is power.

Appearance: Short in stature, green or aqua skin colour and with over exaggerated ears he is slightly hutched over and carries a big bad of gold on his back which is also impaled by 2 swords. He carries two sword/dagger weapons and is a melee ranged champion

Skin Idea: Definitely Not Rogaz: This skin would be similar to Gnar’s Dino skin, meaning it would look like an onesie costume, appearance wise it would look like a bear wearing a tuxedo, a monocle over one eye and a retextured bag on his back to look like a white bag with an emerald icon on it. [Reference to Moneybags character from Spyro]

Quotes: • Joke – “Have you tried my latest book?” • Taunt – “You could always buy your safety” “How will you pay your debts if your dead?” • Move – “Time is money” “Click efficiency, my friend” • Attack – “This better be worth it” “What do I even pay these guys for?!” • Joke – “I’m making a killing in this industry” “Read my latest book? – Trickle Down Economics: From Goblin Rags to Golden Bags” • Upon Death – “They’re not paying me enough for this” “Just play dead” (His death animation would look very acted and fake showing he doesn’t actually die but just pretends to be whenever the going gets rough which suits his cowardly personality) • Using Q – “Outta’ the way scrub” “It’s a Goblin Grenade”

Special Interactions: • Gangplank Taunting Gangplank - “One of the most wealthy and feared pirates in all of blue flame islands, well you’re not in blue flame islands now hahaha” • MissFortune Taunting Miss Fortune – “Fortune doesn’t favour tools” • item 3144 Buying Bildgewater cutlass “Feels like home again” • item 3060 Buying banner of command – “Such synergy!”

Stats: Attack Power:----■■■■■■■■□□ Defence Power: -■■■■□□□□□□ Ability Power:----■□□□□□□□□□ Difficulty:----------■■■■■■□□□□

Attributes: Primary: Fighter

Stats lvl 1: Per level Physical Damage------60 (+4 per level, 128 at lvl 18) Attack Speed-----------0.690 (+3.5 per level, 60.19 at lvl 18) Attack Range-----------125 (+0 per level) Max Gold Stash--------200 (+50 per level, 1050 at lvl 18) Health--------------------500 (+80 per level, 1860 at lvl 18) Health Regen-----------8.37(+0.55 per level, 17.72 at lvl 18) Magic Resist------------30(+0 per level) Armour------------------25(+3 per level, 76 at lvl 18) Movement speed-----340(+0.2 per gold in stash)

Goblin follower stats lvl 1: Per level Physical Damage------20 (+2 per level, 54 at lvl 18) Attack Speed-----------0.690 (+3.5 per level, 60.19 at lvl 18) Attack Range-----------125 (+0 per level) Health--------------------100 (+20 per level, 440 at lvl 18) Health Regen-----------2(+0.1 per level, 3.7 at lvl 18) Magic Resist------------30(+0 per level) Armour------------------25(+0 per level) Movement speed-----340(+0.2 per gold in stash)

[NOTE]: By making their magic resist and armour not scale per level we make it possible for them to be dealt with easily by the enemy team, this was especially important when thinking about how his [R] – Rally the Mob would work, at this amount of health and defences they should be easily clearable by the enemy if they focus on doing it, however leaving them alive will create a very big threat by keeping their attack damage relatively high. Having their movement speed be effected by his passive also allows them to still be a threat but also made sense because the less money Rogaz have the less willing his underlings are going to be to fight for him. (this may require change since Rogaz’s damage mostly comes from utilizing his underlings, if they stop being a threat then he stops being a threat as well).

Abilities:

Passive Ability

• Money on the Mind - For all gold that Rogaz receives he also stock piles his own secret stash that is equal to this amount that can be used to cast abilities. This stash although equal to his gold gained cannot be spent on items or anything of this nature so basically functions as his mana. However Rogaz cannot hold more than 200+lvl bonus at a time.

He also gains movement speed out of combat based on how much gold he currently has in his stock pile. (0.2 MS per gold in his stash) – Rogaz only needs to be out of combat for 2 seconds before this takes effect. This also affects his goblin followers.

[NOTE]: This stash although equal to his gold gained cannot be spent on items or anything of this nature so basically functions as his mana.

Active Abilities

• [Q] - Take one for the ME Cost: No cost Cool down: 13/11/9/7/5 seconds Throw one of your underling goblins following you at the target location stunning all enemies in the area for 0.25/0.5/0.75/1.0/1.25 seconds the goblin will then attack anything that enters the area within where it was thrown, remaining there until you either call it back or walk out of range.

Reactivation: The thrown goblin then runs back to your group

• [W] - Motivate Cost: 20 gold per goblin, Free if only on yourself Cool down: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Give some of the gold in your stash to all goblins (including yourself) in the surrounding area and give them and yourself a speed boost to your movement speed 10/15/20/25/30% and a damage buff to your auto attacks making them deal 30/80/130/180/210 + 0.2xAD over the course of 3 seconds. This effect lasts for 5 seconds

[NOTE: this damage over time buff can not be stacked multiple times on the same target but is reset every time that a new auto attack hits them]

• [E] - Gold’s greed Passive Every 10/8.5/7/5.5/4 seconds, a Goblin is attracted to Rogaz’ side, drawn by the promise of wealth, Goblins have [INSERT HEALTH] health and will attack nearby minions, monsters and champions. Prioritizing the target/target type (champion, minion, monster or tower) that Rogaz is hitting.

Active (can be deactivated) Cost: 15 Stash Gold Cooldown: 1.5 Seconds Rogaz sets on of his goblins to attack an enemy champion for 8 seconds sicking him on the target, the closest goblin to the targeted champion will be the one chosen to go on the attack, At the end of the duration the goblin will explode dealing damage equal to 50% of the damage it did to the champion over the 8 seconds of attacking them.

[NOTE] This move can be used in synergy with his Q: Take one for the ME to cause the goblin you chucked at the enemy to then also be the goblin that is effected by this abilities active, since the thrown goblin will be the goblin closest to the target you are aiming for.

• [R] - Rally the Mob Cost: 10/15/20 gold per second Goblins that appear every second: 1/2/3 Cool down: 10s after ending After selecting a target mercenary goblins will burst out of the closest fog of war area to attack the selected enemy, for every group/second that the attack is ongoing you spend money from your stockpile however the waves of goblins will not stop until you run out of gold, cancel the ability or die.

Tips:

Playing as Rogaz -For being a melee champion you have no escapes so pick your fights carefully. -Rally the Mob can be used on high threat champions in team fights to punish them for positioning poorly and preoccupying them with avoiding the goblin hoard. -Your [W] – Motivate will even effect goblins summoned with rally the mob, if they build in number this can be a very dangerous boost.

Playing against Rogaz -He has no escapes so can easily be caught out if he misses his stun. -Don’t let rally the mobs goblins build up too much, even the weakest of creatures have power in numbers. -Area of effect abilities can be devastating to Rogaz’s goblin swarm.

NOTE: ART NOT BY ME, FOUND ON GOOGLE IMAGES AND CLOSELY RESEMBLED WHAT I IMAGINED THE CHAMPION TO LOOK LIKE.

I could see this, but with the next best thing to a Goblin in the world of Valoran: Manbacon, the pigmen of the world of League of Legends. The first ever shopkeeper in LoL was a Manbacon, so it's easy to assume they like gold, or at least he likes gold.

Additionally I'll critique the abilities, the passive, and the "Stash" resource:

Resource: "Stash" looks like a good concept, in that your gold is used as mana - but indirectly. However, it seems as though it's lacking a bit, such as how you get more in a timely manor during a battle. If you run out of Stash, what do you do? I believe that it should be altered so that there is no hard cap on how much of a manapool you can have from this, as the cap is how much gold you've earned over the battle and the maximum never lowers, only increases. It'd be complicated, but if resource costs were based on flat numbers plus a percentage of your maximum Stash, then this could work. I also feel like if you use an ability and it causes profit, you get Stash back from the cost of the ability.

Passive: The movement speed bonus is nice, and I like that it also affects his cronies. Personally I would add an affect that if one of his cronies gets [X] amount of kills, or gets the kill on a champion, they are promoted, dealing more damage, gaining a bigger health bar, and healing for missing HP-- Promoted Cronies also take more gold when using [W] Motivate. If the promoted crony dies, he is eventually replaced with a starter crony.

Q/Take one for the ME: This ability is nice, and works with the kit. Personally I would change it to have a second cast which calls the underling back from the target hit, rather than it being automatic. That way they can stay and deal damage, and you could possibly spread out your underlings given enough time and proper planning.

W/Motivate: This ability could use a bit of work, in that your underlings don't just need speed as speed doesn't do much without damage to back it. I would add either a small heal to the underlings or damage bonus over an attackspeed bonus.

E/Gold's Greed This passive makes his entire kit, and I would change only a couple things about it. 1: I would change that the underlings will always prioritize enemy champions over minions and neutral monsters, attacking them when near but not chasing them unless ordered to. 2: The active could be activated for as many underlings you currently have, sending one each time the ability is reactivated (and costing more Stash per use!)

R/Rally The Mob: This deeply reminds me of the "Bush Garen" passive effect from Doombots. It was my favorite passive that came out of that entire game mode.

I love it, personally as to the remarks by sulkingKING I agree aa to the hard cap, but I also understand not wanting a neverending ultimate, I also like his suggestion of promotion, my thoughts as to it would be an "overcharge" of sorts, in a which his gold will stack up past the "cap" but when out of combat it drains away back to the cap. Understandably this is difficult to implement so may not work too well, but it could almost be like, as his movement speed increases, the rate he goes back to cap is increased, as by moving faster more money shakes out of his bag

Good idea; but back to his item interactions If he isn't an AP Champion, why would you build Will of the Ancients on him?

Yikes1286/5/2015, 11:20:47 PM1 votes

love the idea, but feel like gold as mana is bad since he wouldnt be playable in say support maybe his passive has a second passive where he gains like .5 gold per 5 and then for each gold gained he gains like 5 stash gold so he has a " mana regen" and then he would have a gold advantage that you would expect from somebody who hoards gold like a goblin would also his ult should be from more than bushes since what happens if the fight is say in your base or the enemies base do you jsut wait for the goblins or what, his minions should gain hp and ad based on the amount of gold in his hoard calling it say inspire so they are inspired by the amount of gold he has

a skin idea would be leprechaun based

thanks for listening i hope i didnt like insult you jsut offering ideas

I'm getting a Warhammer 40k Gretchin vibe from this :D But onto the meat His E active feels really lackluster. I imagine having it sending all of the goblin to attack would make more sense as an active skill, since the goblin attack whatever you attack anyway that the skill is just a glorified non agro right click. Or you could have the goblin affected by the skill do additional effect to justify the cost and cd like say.... STEALING GOLD FROM THE ENEMY CHAMPION O_O Edit: Arent you in the MCCC too? Why am I helping my competition >_<

Svddenly6/6/2015, 10:56:07 AM1 votes

Goblins! Hooray!

Passive: All I have to say here is determine what the per level bonus to the maximum stash would be.

Q: Will this deal AoE damage? Also, the stun is extremely lackluster (0.25 and 0.5?) at lower levels. I'd recommend changing it to a flat amount around 1 second.

W: 30 damage of the course of 3 seconds isn't much at all. You should increase this.

E: The active feels odd here. You could just autoattack an enemy champion to send your minions after them. Am I missing something?

R: I'd say add a passive to this that gives him extra gold per 10. But that would just be gravy. Another idea is you could have the goblins trample over enemies dealing damage to them as well as the main target.

Overall: Very well thought out. He's an interesting champ and I like him. +1.

Hey buddy, my MCCC submission was assigned Bligewater as a target. Considering you are already there and a fellow fighter/tank, wanna make a party?

I need to go through this and remove all of the numbers >.< its probably a bad idea to be trying to guess those already.
