Fiddlesticks VU and Ability Update for 2015?
So yeah. About Fiddle.
I've been a Fiddlesticks player for as far as I can remember. Hell, he was the second champion I ever bought. But recently, with the new champions having 10 000 CC abilities each (I'm looking at you, Braum), it feels like Fiddle is harder to play, not because of nerfs, but because of the champions out there that can shut him down in a millisecond. Stun? Fiddle is dead. Silence? Fiddle is dead. Knock-up? You get the point. So to help this bundle of sticks, I decided to re-imagine a better kit that would help him survive the new meta (and maybe even be picked in LCS!), while still maintaining the essence of what makes Fiddlesticks who he is.
So first of all, let's get the easy stuff out of the way: his VU. Just make it look like the Fiddlesticks in the cinematic ''A Twist of Fate''. Changing the voice could be optional, but i would go for a high-pitched (not too high pitched though), raspy voice. Maybe he could have a British accent and make references to English literature? Next, his abilities could use a new coat of paint, similar to what was done to Risen Fiddlesticks.
Now, the lore. The Institute of War and all that doesn't exist anymore, but Fiddle's story is related to that. So why not give him a new one? I thought of something through the lines of ''He's the gatekeeper of the Shadow Isles, although he's not a part of it. Kinda like a warning for what's ahead.'' or a completely different one idk. If you have a better idea, feel free to write it down in the comments!
Now finally for the abilities!

PASSIVE: The End is Near (or Flock of Crows) A crow flies around his enemies every time they are hit by one of his damaging abilities (max. 5 crows). Each crow reduces its target's Magic Resist. When an enemy has 5 crows, they attack him, dealing Magic Damage that doesn't apply a stack (Magic Damage is optionnal) and Fearing the enemy for a short duration. Crows fly away if no spell is cast within a certain time. I made this passive to give Fiddle more survivability (is that even a word?) when he decides to engage. Oh by the way, if you're thinking this is too OP, I kinda nerfed his Terrify. Kinda.

**Q:**Terrify Terrify does pretty much what the old one did, but instead of Fearing a single target, Terrify is cast in a cone (like Cho'Gath's Silence) and it fears for a shorter duration. Terrify does not apply his passive, because it doesn't do damage.

**W:**Drain Now this one is gonna be fun! I'm not sure if I'm making him too OP, but hear me out. Drain can now drain multiple targets (max. 3) that he can recast DURING his initial cast. So he can cast the ability 3 times on different targets, whether it's a champion, a minion or a monster. For each Drain cast, Drain's damage is reduced, but not too much. And here's the part that I think might be too OP: you can cast other abilities (other than Flash or Crowstorm) while you Drain. I think that would help him a ton. Drain applies up to 3 crows, depending on how long the enemy/enemies are being drained.

**E:**Dark Wind Let's be serious here. Dark Wind silences for a millisecond and does nothing else (unless it bounces on champions, which can be annoying). It doesn't help a whole lot though. So here's what I came up with. First, Dark Wind slows instead of silencing. This helps if you want to keep draining the enemy without having them escape your tether range. Second, Dark Wind should do an itsy bitsy little bit more damage, so he can have a second basic ability that does damage, instead of exclusively being Drain. Dark Wind applies 1 crow on each enemy hit.

**R (ULTIMATE):**Crowstorm I've got a few ideas for this one. On one hand, we can keep it like it is right now. I mean his Ult is godlike and is probably the best think in his old kit. But since this is an Ability Update (and a fan-made one at that), I feel like I should think outside of the box. One of my ideas is that Crowstorm could be a global Ult, but you could see where he's gonna pop up thanks to a small flock of crows. It would give him more map advantage, but I feel like the element of surprise is lost, so I might scratch that one out. Another idea I had was to give his Ult a scarier mechanic: Isolation. Let me explain. His Ult would be cast the same way as the old one, but his Crowstorm would be isolating the people outside and the ones who are inside. Whoever is in the Ult (Fiddle, ally and enemy) cannot see what is outside the Crowstorm. Also, allies and enemies who aren't inside the Ult can't see what's happening inside. This new Ult can help and give a disadvantage to his team, which gives Fiddle more depth to his kit. You can either stay outside and hope that Fiddlesticks is doing a good job in there, or you can risk jumping in a full team with full HP to secure kills. You never know what could happen inside, which helps your team as much as the other one, except for the damage Crowstorm deals. Oh, and his Ult also applies up to 3 crows, depending on how long the enemies stay inside.
So this is my re-imagining of Fiddlesticks' abilities. I hope you like it, and if you have your own thoughts/ideas, let me know in the comments. If you think this update is worth being imputed in the game, help me make it a reality by sharing it and showing it to Riot employees. Thank you so much!
