Champion Concept: Rhodes, The Soul-Broker

I have realized a few things about my concept about a corrupt businessman themed support tank champion that didn't really feel right to me. So I have decided to rework him to truly fit what he is meant to be like. I even thought up a new lore for him that truly fits the essence of the champion. This new lore is to take place after the original lore. Here is a link to my original post for this concept with the original lore: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/Qt5Rzxq0-champion-concept-rhodes-the-soul-broker

Lore A depressed man has left the temple of Nagakaborus after he learned that the god can't help him. The man started to wonder around the streets of Bilgewater, looking for a place to drink away his sorrows. Suddenly a bar that he never seen before appeared out of nowhere. The sign above the door read The Crossroads' Pub, but the only word that the man cared for was the last one. Inside the bar there were men and women on nearly every table and stool, each with one hand holding their head and another holding a mug.

Behind the counter a fancy dressed man was passing drinks. The fancy dressed man saw the depressed man and said with a charming voice, "Well hello there, friend. I am the owner of this pub. Would you like drink?" The depressed man came up to the pub, sat on a stool next to a fat patron, and asked for a bottle of rum. "Certainly, friend. First drink is on the house." While the depressed man was taking his first long sip, the fancy man asked him of his problems.

The depressed man explained that his only son has fallen ill, and there is no cure. The kraken priestess has informed the man that Nagakaborus has forsaken his bedridden son. It was then that the man said, "I would do anything to save my son." These words would seal his fate.

The owner said, "Well your in luck, my friend. For you see, I would gladly use my power to save your son from his accursed illness." These words turned the father's frown upside-down. The now joyful father was excited and giddy at the thought that his dying son can be saved. "But it won't be cheap," the owner continued. But the joyful father didn't care, he was willing to pay any price to save the life of his son. What father wouldn't. "Very well, my friend," the fancy dressed man held out his right hand, "let us shake on it." The joyful father eagerly grabbed onto the owner's hand and shook it with all of his energy. While the joyful father shook the owner's hand, the all the lights in the pub blew out at once. "Excellent... my friend," the owner's voice changed from sweet and charming to dark and creepy.

When the now worried father looked up, he saw a skull surrounded by a light blue flame-like aura where the owner's head used to be. In each of the skull's eye sockets there was a small dot the same color as the aura. The walls have been engulfed with a dense smoke with many piercing red eyes staring at the scared father. Due to the rush of fear, the scared father fell off of his bar stool. On the stool next to his, a fat ghost was drowning his sorrows. All around him, a chorus of wailing echoed. The now terrified father scurried back on his feet and ran for the door, stopping only when he noticed that the door has been engulfed by the smoke.

"It's too late, friend," the owner said as he came out from behind the counter, "In exchange for your son's health, I will take your soul."

"B-b-but who will take care of him," the now hopeless father stuttered.

"Not my problem," the owner said, "all deals are final."

Summary The owner from the lore is Rhodes. In my reworked concept of him, he has basically gained two powers upon death. The first power is the ability to take the souls of others and combine them with his own. The second power is the ability to command his own soul. Even though he calls everyone else his friend, he only sees them as potential clients. He is selfish, but he can't fight alone. He has a poor early game, but an excellent late game.

Abilities Passive: Soul Dealings Two parts that work together Soul Payment Whenever an ally claims an objective (kill enemy champion, dragon, or baron; destroy enemy structure) with Rhodes assistance, that champion gains a stack of Soul Payment (max 5 stacks). Pay Up Whenever an ally champion leaves combat or obtains maximum Soul Payment stacks, he/she will lose 1% of their current health (no more than 50 health per stack). Rhodes will than gain bonus maximum health equal to the amount of health lost this way.

Q: Spectral Grasp Cost: 80 mana CD: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds Range: 800 Targeting Matrix: Skill Shot Rhodes commands a portion of his soul to take the shape of a hand, than launches it a target direction. The hand moves slowly and through all enemy units, dealing 20/40/60/80/100 (+0.5% maximum health)(+20% AP) magic damage to each enemy. Upon reaching maximum range, the hand will return to Rhodes, grabbing the first enemy unit hit on the return and pulling it to Rhodes. You can reactivate this ability to command the hand to return early. Pulling an enemy champion this way will cause all nearby ally champions (range 450) to gain a stack of Soul Payment.

W: Tormented Soul Cost: 30/35/40/45/50 mana, 5% current health CD: 8 seconds Range: 600 Targeting Matrix: Target Area of Effect AoE: 150 radius Rhodes separates a portion of his soul from himself and throws it to target location, dealing 60/85/120/145/170 (+0.5% maximum health)(+45% AP) magic damage to all enemies upon impact. A soul will then remain at the location and wail for 8 seconds, slowing all enemies in range of it by 40%. Having Rhodes walk over a the soul will cause him to reclaim it, healing himself for 5% of his maximum health and stunning all enemies in range of the soul for 0.5 seconds. The first time an enemy champion stunned this way is damaged by an ally champion will cause the ally champion to gain a stack of Soul Payment.

E: Howling Mist Cost: 60 mana CD: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Range: 500 Targeting Matrix: Target Dash Rhodes dashes through a target ally or enemy unit, leaving a creepy mist behind him that last 3 seconds. Dashing through an ally will increase its MS by 32/34/36/38/40% for 1.5 seconds and gives it a stack of Soul Payment. Dashing through an enemy will deal 30/50/70/90/110 (+55% AP) magic damage to it. Enemy champion are feared while in the mist. Ally champions will gain a stack of Soul Payment every time they damage an enemy champion feared this way.

R: Protect Profits Cost: 10% of current health per ally champion in range (including Rhodes) CD: 120/90/60 seconds Range: 1000 Targeting Matrix: Self Passive: 40/50/60% of all damage dealt to nearby ally champions is redirected to Rhodes. Active: Rhodes commands his soul to protect himself and his allies, granting himself and each ally champion in range a (20% of Rhodes max health) health shield for 5 seconds. At the end of the duration, so long as the shield has less then 100% remaining strength, each shielded champion will be healed by the remaining shield amount and gain 5 overlapping* stacks of Soul Payment.

*--Extra stacks are applied after Pay Up is triggered.

Please leave your thoughts in the comments to tell me what you think. I really like this concept, and recently started pondering on going to a school to learn game design so that I can one day use Rhodes as the protagonist for one. I really like to know the public's thoughts about this guy. Thanks for reading.

The lore seems very similar to Tahm Kench's, but otherwise it seems very unique. I like the change to the passive (I read his old kit), because it is much less likely that an allied champion will die from Pay Up while in lane. I feel a little bit disappointed about the loss of the contract mechanic, because it offered your allies items in a more interesting way than Ornn does, but I get that taking up an item slot for your allies can be debilitating. His ultimate is very interesting, as the passive basically neutralizes assassins targeting your teammates. Honestly, using that before using item 3193 seems almost overpowered in how you just win the teamfight.
