Best Garen Counter I can think of
His sustain means nothing when playing AP xin. What do you guys think about the Pushing Power of AP/AS xin.. I melt towers in a few hits mid-late game

Soooo many champs counter Garen. Imo the hardest counter to him in lane is Darius just because his bleed cancels out garens passive.
I like to take AP champions toplane when I am facing a very tanky toplaner. Why? You ask? Well if I can force him to build mr, then it'll be all the easier for my adc to take him down :P
Anyone in high Silver or above should be able to counter Garen with multiple champs IMO. You can go with champs who push him out of farm like teemo, or champs that scale better into the late game than him like Nasus.

The best known counter to Garen is Teemo, as his poison is able to keep his passive off, he can use the blind to migitate the damage from Garens Q, is able to use mushrooms to ward bushes, and when caught off guard, able to W to safety. His passive is also an effective counter if garen decides to bush camp, as you can go in there as well and camouflage.
Yeah there are many champs, but I like the Garen to feel like he's won the lane, you know loosen up a bit before.... I fuck him right in the pussy!
