Champion concept: Merix, The Flood Of The Void
I started this character as a kind of weird one as where his abilities did unique things i the battle field. Originally his character was designed around the concept of being this different mid lane top lane mage. I wanted him to be unique then the normal mages we see that have a little sustain, high damage and some CC. He is still going to have these abilities but I wanted to add a little twist to the end of it. I don't really have any art so if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.
Character design: His splash art and in game art all revolve around deep purples and blacks. He is some champion made of millions of tiny insects from the void. These insects make a colony like this so they might attract pray and eat it. Witch I have incorporated into his game play.
Game play: I wanted to be able to have as much leniency in the game as possible to he does single target DOT, and AOE DOT. He trades high damage for sustain and single targets as a assassin mage.
Stats,: Health: 500 + 50 per level. Mana: 450 +50 per level. Attack: 90% attack damage ratio.
Abilities
Passive: When around enemy champions you may target them for killing. A targeted enemy does not know they are targeted and when you kill enemy champion that is targeted you gain 50/100(lv6) Mana.
Q: Send a voidspider to target enemy champion. After a short delay (as it needs to fly there) it attaches itself to an enemy champion. (can be blocked by yasuo). When the creature attaches itself to the enemy it starts doing 25/30/45/50/75 + 50% AP ratio to enemy champion per second for 4 seconds. Reactivating the ability makes the creature detonate dealing 30/40/50/60/70 damage to the champion.
W: Merix crumples away to get away from enemies becoming untargetable. However when Merix disappears 10 void spiders appear at his location. These void spiders have 100/200(rank 3)/300(rank 5) health and can be damaged and killed. Killing a voidspider grants 20/40(lv 6)/50(lv 16) gold to the killer. Merix takes 25% of the damage the voidspiders take. Merix gains + 50% moving speed for the duration of the ability. Can be toggled off to reform Merix. Moving makes the voidspiders move as well.
E: Merix charged forward and leaves smalls swarms of void spiders behind. Anything passing through these swarms take 10/25/50/60/75 + 25% AP ratio per second they are in the swarm. If Merix hits an enemy champion the champion is stund for 1.5/2/2.5/3/3 seconds as he swarms around the champion dealing 25/50/75/100/150 + 60% AP ratio to the enemy champion. Reactivate E to return to one of the swarms. If a champion was hit it instantly leaves a Q on them if Q is up. (takes no manna on the Q) Picking up swars refunds small mana and health.
R: Merix opens a gate to the void summoning thousands of voidspiders. It is a skillshot that has the same range as Nami ult. Each enemy champion caught in the blast takes 100/200/300 + 110% AP ratio. After the large swarm passes it leaves smaller swarms that deal the same damage as his E. Wile the swarm is raging Merix gains + 10/25/30% AP scaling on all his abilities.
Comments: The Q on Merix allows him to have a difficult time on weather to deal a lot of damage up front of wait and get more DOT. The W is kind of like a valadmire W but I wanted to put a spin on it and letting the enemy team deal damage to you and gain money really makes you think if getting away from that is worth it. As merix is a verry squishy mage he will need to go all damage or a little damage tank to help him. Picking up the swarms for mana and health is what will really help him early game. allowing him to have good sustain. The ultimate I saw as more of a nauses ult giving him more damage instead of more health and max health damage. A gave him small AP ratio scaling so more tank could be an option and also because his ult allows him to gain more AP Scaling. Please comment on this. this is the first champion I have made and I want to see what you think about it.
