Gameplay

Where Melody Excels: Melody, like some mages (Orianna, Lux) excels at defeating diver based champions and abusing short ranged champions like Vayne, Annie, and most assassins. She is great in teamfights with her empowered abilities providing great setups. Her ult provides blind-attack potential, her W provides escape / engage, her Q provides extra damage, and her E provides her with some slight tankiness / damage.

Where Melody Falls Short: Melody, like the previously mentioned mages, falls short when fighting other long ranged mages like Xerath or Azir. If used incorrectly, her team-fight potential is utterly wasted. Additionally, Melody has high mana cost on most of her spells, making her casting costly when missing spells. A lot of her damage can be avoid by simple dodging her Q and leaving her W, and not engaging her during teamfights.

Good Counters: Morgana, Taliyah, Xerath, Lux, Orianna

Champions Melody Counters: Lissandra, Annie, Syndra, Katarina, Talon, etc.
