Skins for old champions have been neglected?

Dear Riot!

I think that only making skins for champions that are "popular" is a good business model. I understand that there is less incentive for you to make skins for champions like Taric (my main!!!!) Then for toons like Jinx who is newer but has more fans. Because you know champs who aren't played as much will have less riot point purchases than a champ who will. But that is unfair for the player base who only plays champs who are less popular. Taric has been out for years and yet has only 2 skins. Sona has been out forever and has many skins. Soraka has a ton of skins and she isn't as popular as Sona. Why is it that Champs like Taric are neglected? Perhaps making an effort to make him less "feminine" or "gay" would increase his popularity. Perhaps reworking champions who are LESS popular would result in more points purchased than reworking champs who are ALREADY bringing in a lot of money?
