Varus Rework Concept as an Artellery Mage
I'm not a main Varus i just enjoy making new champion and rework so these are my ideas on Varus the Arrow of Retribution. This is of course just my opinion and it's just here to make you wonder : « what if ? »
I've made changes so he would support the role of Artillery Mage with the strength and weaknesses that comes with it

range is lower to 500 no longer has mana

range gain : 300/350/400/450/500 mark damage : 80/110/140/170/200 (+1 AD) physical damage slow : 50% for 2s cost 5% current health cooldown : 14s

although the visual is pretty much the same the mechanisms have quite changed it is still a skillshot that will hit the first enemy champion and then spread the skillshot has the same shape but now has two range, hitting a champion within the first 400 unit will stun while afterward it wont the chain immidiatly spread (the spread has NO delay) to an enemy champion 300 unit nearby and spread again until there is no champion around the last target the link take 1,5s before it detonates champions can move away from each other to break the link the damage done by the link is increased each time it spreads
damage : 50/75/100/125/150 (+0.6 AD) physical damage damage is increased by 30% each time it spreads cost : 5% current health cooldown : 24/22/20/18/16
http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/6.24.1/img/spell/VarusE.png R spell : _revamp version of E spell, it's now an ultimate :D ! _ 4 consecutive waves of arrow fall from the sky every 1s first area has the size of gp's ult following areas are smaller than the previous one but the number of arrows is still the same (means more damage)
this spell has a range of 2000/3000/4000 unit
damage : cant really give numbers without testing, the first area deals light damage while the last one really hurts cooldown : 120/100/80

Does that kit sounds to you as an « high reach deadly combo spell » which can be partially avoided with ease if not used with other team mates ?
If that kit was viable (50% win ratio) would you find it challenging and fun to play with and against it in most cases ?
