Name - Caregivers Shell

Build path and item cost Caulfield's Warhammer (1100 gold) + Chain Vest (800 gold)

Final Cost 2850 (extra 950 gold to build)

Stats 40 AD 40 Defense Unique passive - 10% cooldown Unique passive - Turtle (60 sec. cooldown) Turtle - After receiving damage from an enemy champion equal to 20% of your current HP in 2 secs. a shield of 50-180 (scaling with level) + (80% of AD) will activate for 6 secs. if this shield is not broken, after leaving combat for 2 secs. you will receive 10% of your missing HP as health over 3 secs. (healing does not activate if you are still in combat after 6 secs. and shield disappears).

**Item Objective and Playstyle ** This item is intended to be used either as a tool for short burst guerrilla warfare if you are playing a fighter like Riven, Fiora, Jax ect. or as an item for low mobility AD tanks and Juggernauts like Garen, Illaoi, Sion ect. to counter burst from AD assassins. it allows for great trading potential as it will grant you sustain after a fight if you can back off in time for the passive to activate and allows damage to be negated through the shield proc. This item also has a decision process to it and gives the user a choice in if they what to use up the shield in a full engage or to just jump in, do some damage, and jump back out to heal back up withering their enemies down bit by bit in the process.

Well that's my idea if anyone wants to provide any positive feedback or if they have any suggestions on how it should be balanced feel free to leave them in the comments section below.

props and thx to Djinn for the help with the turtle passive

I also give full permission to use this or any part of this item to riot games and affiliates.

Interesting. I'd suggest two minor changes though:

Make the passive activate when you fall below a health threshold, like Volibears, or when you take X% of your health in damage withint a certain time frame. I'd recommend "when you drop below 40% od your maximum hit points" to prevent it from triggering through just basic harass.

Then, scale the shield off of total AD at a larger percentage. Most tanks won't be building a huge amount of AD, and many Juggernauts don't either. 50+100% of total AD might be helpful, although even then the healing portion isn't very strong.

Maybe a shield of 30-100 (scaling on level)+100% total AD, and if the shield isnt consumed in the 10 second window you heal for 25% of your missing hit points over 4-5 seconds? A bit more power, but a bit harder to access, which makes it feel both more meaningful AND like more of a choice.

i like the first part but i think making the shield scale off of 100% ad might be a little op if you are playing someone like Riven and most of your items are AD. This item isn't just for tanks and even with tanks (cough, cough talking to you juggernaut's cough, cough) now you can get some good offensive items with defensive capabilities so if i did that i think fighters they would abuse its power a little to much as their shield would be enormous on already good innate defense stats, still pretty low looking back at it though so i might increase it to 80% of bonus AD with some form of base shield per level scaling. The heal though i think is fine as the whole point of the item is either as a tank to use it to negate more damage and not really used as a heal per say and fighters tend to have less HP then a tank so i think basing it off the shield health left would benefit this class more imo as that is the main point of getting it for fighters as more of a guerrilla warfare that sure gives you a shield after getting low but that's not the main point of it (unless you want to all in) as the health regain is used as a way to heal after a smaller fight. Thanks for the feedback and I will thank you in the concept as well think i seen you helping out a lot of other people with their concepts too so thought it be cool to mention that you helped me out as well.
