Champion Idea: Semry, the Spirit of valor
SEMRY, THE SPIRIT OF VALOR Background: Neverending wars between Noxus and Demacia have always forced comon folk to flee, trying to find a peaceful place to forget about bloody battles, to rest. However, sooner or later these people were found by a infamous bandit group called The Black Spears, led by Semry. Semry had survived many battles, but with each one, he seemed to lose his humanity. He became tranquil, emotionless, but he never lost his valor, never lost his leadership and ability to inspire. The group of misfits and rogues have terrorized all parts of Valoran for a long time. One day however, word spread that Demacians plan to put an end to this. Led by Garen, a numerous legion finally met with the famed bandits and thus a bloody fight have become. Although outnumbered, Semry's men held their ground and managed to survive relentless assaults. At last, Garen faced Semry himself, in order to end the bloodshed. He challenged the bandit leader to a duel. After a few seconds Garen broke through Semry's guard and thrusted his sword into opponents chest, killing Semry. The rest of the bandits immidiately lost their will to fight and surrender, but before that actually happened, Semry's body stood up and spoke to his fellow bandits, like a true leader, to never fall back and to fight till dead. Standing again, Semry understood that his men's devotion and belief in him somehow ressureceted him as a spirit inhabiting his own body. A spirit of valor.

The ult lasts 5 seconds. Ult passive: As long as there's an ally in a cone behind Semry, he gains 5% damage reduction. The effect stacks up to 10%.
Gameplay:
Semry, primarly a support, can provide his partner on bot with a decent protection in early game, but one must keep in mind that Semry gradually becomes tanky. Semry is all about communication and good timing. If you can see enemy adc or support isolated from each other, you can utilize your WQE combo for some really strong CC and reliable damage. But be wary, because if your adc cannot follow up with the dash, you leave yourself open for some heavy punishment. When engaging, you should always consider what will be the best use of Binding stacks. Will you be able to get three stacks? It's not easy, but a 2 seconds stun is worth it. Or do you want some fast damage to help your adc take enemy down? That's one reason to invest in attack speed items, so you will have easier time getting those stacks.
Your ultimate shines in teamfights. A quick Flash + Ult combo, if executed properly, can not only knock up one or two enemies but it also forces enemies to run first, then think what's next. Thanks to your ult and mayhem it does, your allies can follow up and try to keep enemies inside your ult for that sweet damage reduction. That means Semry would work wonders with
or
alongside. While laning phase, he works well with mobile marksmen like
or
, so they can always ensure to follow up on your engage.
