Grohl - The Predator of Piltover
Grohl has always been a man enticed by the chase. Akin to a hunter, he loves to track down prey attempting to flee and catch them before they can get away. Choosing to be an officer of Piltover, Grohl gets to live out his greatest excitements that had to wait for hunting trips, and got to use run away criminals and suspects as part of his sport. He earned an ill reputation very quickly for letting dumber suspects escape at first just to catch them again after giving them a head start, although he kept a near spotless record for criminal apprehension, none were happy with his early performance. Despite this, Grohl managed to remain as an officer for many years, even working alongside Caitlyn and Vi at times when the best were needed. His desire to chase relentlessly made him worth having for large busts to ensure few to no one in the raids could escape, and was made better than he finally stopped letter the “easier catches” go to give him more of a challenge. What could have been a long and lustrous career as an officer was cut short after Grohl was detained under suspicions that he was executed criminals in custody, namely those that had escaped him before. He was also getting numerous right ups from complaints over brutalizing suspects post apprehension. This is believed to had begun after the arrival of Jinx, who escaped him while in pursuit. After this slight blemish, many concerns came in about Grohl, who was saying things over how much he hated Jinx for getting away, but would also comment on how “pretty” and “exotic” she was. These concerns became validated over time as a search of Grohl’s private locker revealed two different collages of pictures, one pristine and romanticized over Jinx, clearly in love with her, and the other her pictures torn up and blemished, clearly despising her as well. This questionable state-of-mind and many reports results in Grohl’s arrest and termination as a Piltover Officer. After a few years of incarceration, Grohl was approached by Caitlyn and Vi, proposing to release him in exchange for assisting in the apprehension of Jinx. Unsure if his response due to his mixed feelings concerning Piltover’s Most Wanted, both officers were very relieved that he agreed to the conditions that saw him under monitored work orders and no official claim as an officer except for being deputized. With his weapons returned to him and finally breathing open air for the first time in years, Grohl returned to the world to continue his greatest passion in life, the chase.
Passive: Grohl’s love for the chase guarantees that he can keep up in a pursuit. When moving towards Enemy Champions that are moving away from him, Grohl gains +XX Movement Speed.
Q: Tendon Rip – Grohl uses his arm blades to slice at the heels of the target, dealing XX (+X) physical damage, and reduces their movement speed by 25% for 2 seconds.
If Tendon Rip is cast on the same target within 7 seconds, Tendon Rip deals 150% damage, and the slow is increased to 50% for 2 seconds.
W: Reckless Leap – Grohl lunges viciously at a target in front of him, leaping and dealing XX (+XX) physical damage. When using Reckless Leap, Grohl will always leap behind the target if capable.
Reckless Leap can be used on allied champions, granting a second leap by recasting with the same range from where the allied champion currently is. Grohl will simply drop off of his allied champion if it is not recast within 2 seconds of casting.
E: Chain Gang – Grohl throws at his chain in a targeted direction. The first Enemy Champion hit will be tethered to Grohl, forcing both Champions to stay within a distance of each other for 3 seconds. While Chain Gang is active, relocation spells (such as Flash) are disabled for both Champions.
R: Lock Down Procedure – Grohl unwraps the full length of his chain from his body, after a short delay, he whirls the chain and blades around him in a circle, dealing XXX (+XX) physical damage and pulling any Enemy Champions caught in the area to him, stunning them for (1, 1.5, 2 seconds). Grohl cannot take any action for the duration of the stun.
