So I am just a little confused with Riot's actions recently. They obviously had the zombie skins planned out before October even started. Why wouldn't they give us an update on how they are releasing events and such before October even starts, it would have avoided all of the negative backlash they received about the skins. They always seem to be claiming about using resources here and there. Well Riot, you spent a good amount of time going on the boards telling people the same thing, trying to calm them all down and telling them to be patient for the post that would explain everything. Why wait till after you put the skins up on PBE? I don't know, the way they have handled everything this month seems odd and counterintuitive.

I think they are refraining from say too much/too little. Game developers (especially GC) have experience for responding to player base complaints. It's a love hate relationship. What's difficult is when the PBE comes out and then players jump on the content first thing. I think they may adjust how they choose to release or reveal their content in the future to keep feedback centered.
