-Automatic Fire: Upon activation, Nu'Sura's gains 20/30/40/50/60% Attack Speed for 5 seconds.
-Three-Round Burst Fire: Upon activation, Nu'Sura's next 3 basic attacks are faster but they only deal 75% damage each.
-Fully Automatic: Upon activation, Nu'Sura will openly fire his rifle in a targeted-direction in a cone shape for 3 seconds, dealing 20/30/40/50/60 (+10% AD) Physical Damage every second. He can use his basic attacks and abilities and can move freely at the cost of 15% reduced movement speed. (Range: 550 Units)
-Semi-Automatic Fire: Nu'Sura's fires at a targeted enemy, dealing 35/60/85/110/135 (+100% AD) to them. This ability applies on-hit effects. (Cooldown: 4 seconds/ Range: 550 Units)

E - Remodel
Nu'Sura adds more adjustments to adapt to his situation.
-Grip: Toggle: Increases the percentage of Nu'Sura's critical strikes by 5%, but at the cost of 15% reduced Attack Speed. His basic attacks will increase his movement speed by 25.
-Sight Scope: Toggle: Increases Nu'Sura's range by 10/20/30/40/50 Units, but at the cost of 10% reduced Movement Speed.
-Hollow Point: Toggle: Nu'Sura's Basic Attacks ignore 2/4/6/8/10% of a target's armor at the cost of 25 reduced range.
-Flashlight: Toggle: Nu'Sura's Field of Vision is increased by 100/200/300/400/500 (From the initial 1200) directly in front of him and reveals enemies within bushes. When this ability is toggled on, it drains 3% of Nu'Sura's Mana every second.
-Deflector: Toggle: Reduces the damage of basic attacks by 5/10/15/20/25, but also reduces Nu'Sura's Attack Damage by the same amount.
R - Armageddon
The end of everything.
Nu'Sura shines a laser designator in a targeted direction for 4 seconds and continues to face that direction with 10% reduced movement speed. If the laser strikes through a target or multiple targets by the end of the channel, multiple laser beams fall from the sky directly on top of the selected targets and deal 250/350/450 (+100% AD)(75% Bonus AP) Physical Damage to them.
If Nu'Sura fails to select a target, the cooldown is halved and half of the Mana cost is refunded.
Mana Cost: 100/125/150 Mana Cooldown: 120/110/100 Seconds Range: 1500 Units
Lore:
He lights a fire in front of him. The night is dark, haunting, and tempting, but he knows he must not venture forth any further. This world is unknown to him, very unfamiliar. Too vibrant and colorful compared to Sala'Ma's dull grays and browns. Too calm and quiet compared to the war-torn state of his own, thanks to those creatures from the darkness...
He rests back against the minimally-functioning Armageddon, knowing that no matter how much he thought back to his old home, there was no return. He tried contacting any of his superior officers, hoping that he could reach one... He even tried to contact Ta'Mu, no matter how difficult it was for him to comprehend what had already transpired...
He knew that she would never answer. His mind knew, but he didn't want to accept it just yet... This silence was disheartening. When the world falls silent, he has all the time to think and the nostalgia kills him.
The nightmares as well. This silence...forces him to hear her last whispers, drifting in and out of his ear...
“I'm always with you, Nu... Don't ever feel like you're alone...”
The last thing she ever said to him... Before she left her bloody hand-print on the Armageddon after she pushed him into it... Before those Otherworldly creatures snatched her from his vision as he banged helplessly against the glass... He wanted so badly to believe that the same fate hadn't befallen the others of his world, but the silence he received from his radio told him otherwise...
Even back on his own planet, he was always alone... He had always worked alone because the others were afraid to work with him... They used to call him the “Endangered”... They said that if you worked with him, your chances of survival was less than 0. He usually made it back from missions like that as the lone survivor...
It wasn't his fault that those around him were too busy trying to scratch notches on their rifles instead of keeping them from their flesh.
But now, with this camp fire in front of him and his ship behind him, the loneliness bothered him more than ever. The possibility that he was the last of his race killed him inside... It tore him apart worse than the creatures themselves...
His heartbeat quickened, the adrenaline pouring through his veins... He heard the sound of shifting leaves in the trees behind him, even though there was no wind. His hand moved to his rifle, his last remaining friend. His eyes narrowed, and with his other hand he put the fire out...
His rest was over. The time to fight was now...and with the inhumanly screaming sending away the flying critters with the feathers, he knew he was in for a long night.

Playstyle and Development:
The last of his nearly-extinct race, Nu'Sura was forced to escape from a Voidborn invasion on his home planet, Sala'Ma. Witnessing the death of his closest friend and being unable to contact anyone else from his world, he now fights to survive as he is stranded on Runeterra with no hope of returning to his home and potentially being the last Sala'Man alive.
A match is never scripted out. It is never meant to played in a ordinary fashion, and the game is never played the same every time. Different factors cause you to do things different every game: Is
blowing you all sky high? Maybe you should build a Magic Resistance item immediately, regardless if it cuts into your build. Is the enemy
running amok? Maybe investing in a Last Whisper or Void Staff at this point would help you more. Regardless of what Abilities you max out or items you decide to build, the whole point is to adapt to whatever the enemy is doing and counter it to achieve victory.
That whole concept is what defines Nu'Sura as a character. Instead of general playstyle, he's a Marksman with the ability to adjust his style within his limitations and try to adapt to the situation as necessary. He's not necessarily meant to have all of the answers to problems initially and not all at once, but he is able to react to what is being done and try to compensate.
Your lane match-up is
? Maybe taking Incendiary at Level 1 would be a smart idea, but what if there's a mobile Jungler on the team as well? Do you prioritize the Grievous Wounds, or the Shock Grenade for the Anti-Ganking properties? What if she's partnered with
or
? Do you take Flashbang instead?
Nu'Sura is an Hybrid Damage Marksman who is designed to adapt to whatever situation is troubling the team to maintain some presence within the game. It would be better to think of him as a “Jack of all trades, master of none”. His passive allows him to modify the effects of his abilities when he returns to base to change as the game goes along. The items are used in a similar effect to the Ichors, and they are all free.
Nu'Sura works best with supports who are able to protect him and defend him as he deals damage and uses his utility, such as
,
, and
.
He falters against champions with high-mobility, massive burst damage, long range, or heavy diving capabilities.
and
are disaster match-ups for him, as his Flashbang is a skill-shot than can easily be dodged by them, and their burst is difficult for him to escape from.
is also particularly threatening to him with her burst. His lack of mobility is terrible when faced against champions with heavy engage potential as he's essentially dead when someone like
or
gets a hold of him. He would also struggle against
,
, and
thanks to their long range and ability to kill him from afar while his longest ranged ability needs to be channeled.
Modification One of the key things about him is that he isn't meant to be able to do everything, but he does have the potential to do more things than the average Marksman. In order to try and limit him from being negatively labeled as a Marksman who does everything, he cannot use more than one Modification for his abilities at a time. If you pick Flashbang, you are stuck with Flashbang until you return to base and switch it out. Another limitation is that he is unable to switch them out until he levels up his Abilities.
Basically, the number of points you place into an ability is equal to the amount of Modifications you can switch. If you take Grenade Launcher at Level One and select Fragmentation Grenade, you cannot use another Grenade Launcher Modification until you place another point into Grenade Launcher. With two points, you can then select one other Modification. You have to completely max out an ability to be able to freely switch between Modifications. This encourages you to max abilities out not necessarily in a specified order, but to level them depending on what Modification you need.
Grenade Launcher
This is your standard damaging Ability and appears similar to
Smokescreen or
Phosphorous Bomb. However, of course, it changes depending on which Modification you have.
-As stated earlier, you may want to go Incendiary if the enemy team is stack Regenerative or Healing effects, and take this first if enemy heals may detriment your laning success.
-If enemies are stacking armor, or your lane opponent happens to be very tanky, taking Fragmentation Grenade is the best choice. This ability not only helps you, but the rest of your team as well.
-Flashbang is excellent against aggressive dueling champions and can help him escape from particularly dangerous situations. Not super dependable, though.
-Smoke Bomb and Shock Grenade are two tools that are usually for preventing engages and ganks, and starting fights on his own. Shock Grenade is a better tool for engaging and Smoke is better for disengage.
Rate of Fire These abilities increases his nature of dealing damage through Auto-Attacks. The nature of each is different, and what they are useful for varies on what you are trying to accomplish as a team.
-Automatic Fire is a really standard Attack Speed Steroid, and is great when combined with Grip in to counter the decrease in Attack Speed. Might not be worth picking up until a few points is put into it, however.
-Similar to
Hyper Charge and
Ricochet, Three-Round Burst Fire is good when trying to take down towers really fast. If you are using
or
, this could be helpful in kiting as well.
-Fully Automatic is a hybrid combination of
Gatling Gun and
the Culling, allowing him to fire rapidly in a targeted-direction. This ability is good if you are being dived on all the time as it allows him to constantly deal damage, and is useful when combined with
or
for mobility with your basic attacks. Also great if one buys
.
-Semi-Automatic Fire is an Auto-Attack Reset ability and is good if
is built on Nu'Sura and is intended for a Caster type of build path. Works well with high Attack Damage builds.
-Double-Tap is very similar to
Pix, and is particularly useful if you are building an aggressive Auto-Attack build with much Attack Speed.
Remodeling These are supplement abilities that represent additional effects for his standard style of play not related to his main damage Ability and his Attack Speed Steroid. They are toggle abilities, so they are useful when particularly necessary and you don't have to suffer the ill effects of them permanently.
-Grip is particularly useful when you are lacking early critical strike chance or if you build
. The reduced Attack Speed is big price to pay, so it might come in handy if you have built an Attack Speed build, or you simply take Automatic Fire early.
-The Sight Scope is a really great item in the late game to keep up with the others, but the movement speed might be a problem. It really isn't worth picking it up early, however.
-While the range is a problem, the Hollow Point is particularly strong if the enemy team lacks significant range (If the enemy carry isn't a Hyper-Carry that isn't
), and allows him to punish tanks when combined with Fragmentation Grenade.
-All champions have a Sight Range of 1200, and Flashlight is great when the team is behind. If your Jungle has potentially been taken over, using this ability when you need to ward in it and be safe is really useful.
-Deflector is great if you know that you are going to have a losing match-up, and is also good when you are behind. It is far from being useful in the late game.
Armageddon
The channeling of Armageddon is very similar to
Arcanopulse: He can move around, but he is forced to aim in one particular direction. The laser designator, which is visible to all parties, must remain on at least one target by the end of the 4 second channel. This makes the ability highly-damaging in a team-fight when you can lock on to multiple targets. It's also useful for dispersing unwanted team-fights as the mere sight of the laser can cause panic amongst the enemy team and force a disengage.
Things Subject to Change:
General:
Reducing Range from 550 to 525. Increasing Movement Speed from 325 to 330/335/340.
Grenade Launcher
Increasing Range to 1000 or 1100. Changing Smoke Bomb into something else.
Rate of Fire
Reducing Automatic Fire's Attack Speed to 10/20/30/40/50%. Replacing Double-Tap with something else. Changing Three-Round Burst Fire into something else.
Remodeling
Reverting some of the trade-offs, or weakening them if they are too much. Removing the skill entirely and replacing it with something else. Changing it to Body Modifications, and giving him more mobility-oriented spells.
Armageddon
Reducing the channeling time to 3 seconds.
Skins:
Mobster Nu'Sura
-Dresses in a fashion similar to those of the Mafia Skin Line. His face is still hidden.
Vandal Nu'Sura
-The urban fashion from his home lands, connecting him to the Vandal Skin line.
Trivia:
-He was designed as a reference to First-Person Shooters and the Sci-Fi Alien shooters. This is easy to determine by his quotes. The brief sketch is also inspired by games like Destiny and Killzone.
-Nusura means “Survivor” in Swahili, and I just added an apostrophe to give it a more alien-like feel. The same goes for Tamu (Sweet) and Salama (Safe).
-Other's from his planet nicknamed him "Nu".
-Armageddon is named after the movie. It's also the name of his ship, from which the lasers of his ultimate emerge.
-His voice is raspy. I'd imagine him to sound like
or
, but with a Void-like echo.
-His enemy was meant to be
as the original lore I had written had him responsible for killing Ta'Mu. He simply detests all monsters of the Void, and those related to it.
