disable edits on posts more than 24 hours old
If a board or post becomes featured, the primary poster can change the original post to have pornographic content, and i doubt we want these boards to be responsible for featuring pornographic content

The likelihood of this happening is significantly lower than times where someone wants to edit their post to add new content or clarify their thread. It doesn't matter where a post is located in the heirarchy (featured, etc.), if it has pornographic content it can be reported and very rapidly removed.
Came in ready to upvote, ended up downvoting, because nobody really does this.
If you had argued that people can change their post to make arguments against it look silly, I'd agree with you, and I'd suggest that, after 24 hours, you can only edit to add things in to your post, not change existing content. But nobody actually stealth edits porn into their posts. Or if they do, they're immediately permabanned, so who cares anyway?
