I want to question why we do have different boards for each region? It seems unnecessary to split players up based on their region. I tried to use the euw/eune boards and the feeling is completely wrong. It feels like nobody is active and like Riot isn't as active as on NA boards. It is quite annoying because the browser keeps redirecting you to your own region first and then you choose another boards region.
I think it is mainly a language thing (for LA, China, Japan, etc sever) as well as a moderator thing, considering that mods for each riegin would be active during the day time of each time zone
it's not only a language thing, but imagine all the traffic if all league of legends boards were just one board. there would be too much going on at once for both the players trying to browse through the discussions that keep constantly getting pushed down as new ones come up and also for the staff/moderators to sort through the various languages and possible offenses that would also have to get filtered through the languages in order to send them all to the right team that speaks the right language.
Plus, it's not like they're region locked, anyone can go browse any region's board. If that certain region isn't particularly using their board, well that's their own decision to use it or not.
