The reason why the boards didn't get a lot of traffic was because people prefer the other ones. In forcing the switch, there are going to be a lot of people that either a) stop coming to the forums at all or b) come to the Boards (group b has subdivisions too, like those who will stay and those who shall not).
long-term vision
What does this even MEAN? While I understand that nobody knows, how does one have 'community-created boards' without them existing in the first place?
Because from what I can tell, plenty of people are getting their threads deleted for being posted in the wrong section because there's too much sectional overlap and thus they cannot tell. Which means that there's a demand for clear segregation... that isn't being given, because threads keep getting deleted because they're 'off-topic', which means that they don't stay around to be counted towards that "50 posts/day". But since those are TOPICS, then people don't have things to bounce off of, which further decreases the amount of posts being given towards a topic.
On an unrelated note I bloody hate formatting things on the boards. Why can't I just use standard [b][/b] tags like on literally everywhere else I've been? Why can't I create extra space between points without using real separation characters by just giving a few newlines?

It's so... annoying. ,_, And why have a character limit since you can't do string posts like you could on the other forums? I'm sure that a lot of people want to make much larger posts than they are able to... I guess I have to go make a post somewhere else. Wait, but they're not responding on the good forums. Siiigh. Yay, I get to be forced to do something that feels like spamming.
You didn't click the check box when you logged in. Might be your browser settings too, but unlikely. Worth a check though (cookies).
Oh, no. I did.
Even more than that, my browser is specifically set to keep me logged in.
In fact, whenever I open the other boards, and then come back to these ones, it relogs me into these ones automatically. >_>
