Rioter's need signatures on the board

So, I don't know if this has been brought up before, but I think it would be useful. I think all Rioters should have an automatic signature at the foot of their post (in smaller text, if you want) for their Riot Username (like they have now) and what department they are in along with a disclaimer that a post made by a Rioter is no guarantee of anything happening and that only posts made in announcements should be taken as 100% fact.

This would allow the Rioters to comment more often on things without setting it up that they are making changes. I say this because of a recent post I saw of a Rioter commenting on a champion and that he had to really emphasize that his post meant nothing about anything being done with that champion or not.

If you want people to trust the company more then we need to see them as people more. Make posts discussing things and make it possible for Rioters to ask for feedback more often. Like allow something posted daily of some suggestion that someone had and wanted to get community feedback on. Maybe it's a suggestion that someone likes and someone else said the community would hate. Well, post it the idea and see what people think of it. This is 2016, crowd sourcing is one of the best things that is around, don't be stupid and not use it. Let the Rioter's discuss things easier by having a constant reminder that a post by a Rioter is not a guarantee of anything and if people complain that "so-and-so said... " just point to that line.

Rioters tend to not spend too much time on the boards for a few very good reasons;

  1. Their mere presence can derail a discussion. Even if they are trying to discuss the OP's topic, other people will almost always try to get them to answer questions unrelated to it. People also tend to focus on them, which can make it difficult for the community to actually have a discussion with each other and the OP.

  2. The Rioter that posts doesn't always work in the correct department to give definitive answers, and they only posted because they are personally interested in the topic. For example, Bioluminescence loves to get involved in lore discussions, but not only does she not work in Narrative, she doesn't work on League at all!

  3. They may be legally restricted from giving out certain information. People love to make demands of Rioters, but don't consider that even if they know the answer they may not be allowed to put anything out yet. Also as you mentioned, plans change, and what a Rioter says on the boards casually may not be intended is an absolute certainty. However, this even includes official announcements; anything can change at any time, and we have seen before that something announced officially ended up not working out as planned so it was scrapped or changed.

Having a notification of these things below their post may help remind people, but I think it could be a bit obstructive and it's not really a signature if it's just a note for the players to read (signatures are a personal mark). This would probably be better suited to being displayed in the Guidelines on the left.

If you hover your mouse over a rioter's name it will tell you what department/area they work in.
