More Filters and Sort Options Please

Right now, it's possible to sort by hot, recent, and best. I'd like to be able to multiply sort and/or filter topics. Here are the things I'd specifically like to be able to do:

• sort by recent responses (not just recent topics)
• filter by a date range and then sort by hot or best. That way I could see the best of the last week or the hottest topics of January.
• filter by an upvote threshold and then sort by date

In general, I'm looking for sort options that let me see a collection of good posts without necessarily seeing the popular topics that have been accumulating upvotes for months.
