Boards structure change after logging in

Does this happen to anyone else? When I'm not logged in, I can actually see who people respond to and things line up normally, but when I'm not logged in I just see a line of replies. I don't know who responded to who. What I mean is, normally theres subsections to replies, like on facebook comments, you can see responses to comments and stuff, but when I log in that structure is gone. Anyone else know what I mean or have this issue, or know how to fix it?
