Hide upvotes/downvotes for 60 minutes or more.

So, a big concern seems to be that this reddit-style forum will simply be a popularity, Riot fanboy circle jerk.

They fear that any post that is not praising Riot or any post that says something negative about the game will get downvoted into oblivion and that there will be no time to have unbiased discussions.

So, as they have in many subreddits, can we hide upvotes/downvotes of every thread or post any makes for at least 60 minutes?

This way, it will help alleviate the hive-mind mentality everyone over on the normal forums fears will take over this site.

I agree with this completely there shouldnt be an automatic show of the score cause that can destroy a thread within 10 min if enough people downvote it then no one will come in and see what its about.

Geekweezul has made some good points.

This would give initially "unpopular" threads a greater chance to be seen. At least as much of a chance as an equally viewed "popular" thread.

The problem with an idea like this is that it'd be a lot harder for moderators to find threads that need removal or players to find threads that immediately become relevant and important. It'd be useful to smooth out the midrange posts, but the extremes would be pretty damaged by something like this.
