Reddit style or GD style? Why not both?

What if instead of making the Community Beta either Reddit style or forum style, we made it like both at the same time?

As in give us the option to make our topic either Reddit style or forum style depending on what we'd like to accomplish with the thread. Both styles have their pros and cons (Reddit's good for getting a general consensus about something or getting general news, and forums are better for the back and forth chronological discussions).

You can keep your Reddit style topic sorter. I'll admit that threads get buried way too quickly and easily with forum style, and it's a real pain to have to keep bumping a thread to give it any kind of visibility. Besides, if you sort the threads by most recent it's essentially the same thing anyway.

So... ¿por qué no los dos?
