[Feedback] @Riot: As a player who has actively posted on the forums for years...

This layout feels like jumping into a raging river of constantly moving posts. On our current setup (regular GD, etc) there seems to be more solidarity in the order of things... as if stuff were indexed and nicely formatted for easy reading. When you post in a thread it goes into a sort of X Y Z coordinates in the system, not just thrown into a pile of other comments that are constantly being shuffled around based on popularity or how recent it is.

For example, I'm browsing the forums and find thread 'X'. I open it, read it, then decide I want to contribute to the discussion and do so. My post is now number 'Y' on page 'Z' of the thread. It will ALWAYS be number 'Y' on page 'Z', and no amount of upvotes, downvotes, or replies will change that. I know if I see that thread tomorrow I can jump to page 'Z' and continue reading (in chronological order) the discussion exactly as it left off.

I guess overall I feel like you've introduced an unnecessary 'learning curve' to the discussion system, that requires we teach ourselves how to predict where our comments/posts will eventually end up in a thread. The reason I've always avoided Reddit like the plague is because I find it silly that I need to re-learn how to simply discuss things with people.

There's a lot more I want to say, but I'm still figuring out how to express it properly, so for the moment I'll keep it to myself.

Apologies in advance for any grammatical or sentence structure errors, I'm kinda tired right now.

It's like the n-ish post about this with every single time the same point... which is corect ofc (but does it need to be reposted?).

As I saw that point many times without replying; I'll try here (if you don't mind).

First : yes it's new, yes it's unfamiliar. It may be worst, it may be better, at least give it a try.

Places of post : does it matter? It's not like you'll be top then all the way to the bottom. If someone replying to you, you'll get a message at the top right and you can go at the comment through the link.

Does topics can have 10+ pages? yes often, even hundreds. Does ANY topic has an equivalent of more than 3-5 pages of constructive/intersting comments? 99% of the time no. This new style, imo, can make it so you will be able to read those constructive comments through the thousands others, neat ones like "i agree", "I don't agree", "hate teeemo", "lol donger lol".

Is it perfect? No. Is it confortable? Not yet for sure as you're not used to it. But how 'bout give it a try?

This seems to be a sentiment echoed by a lot of the community here. I really think that this style is better in some ways, but I really would like to have a two-column front page, with at least one being customizable. Things move really fast here and a thread I was interested in can be lost. You should be able to have a thread you really were getting into and enjoying on your front page for easy access.
