Can we get an option to personalize our view of the boards?

What I mean by the title:

As it stands now, we have 4 viewing options for the boards:

Hot - boards with recent large activity Best - Boards with the most upvotes New - Recently created boards (where I spend most of my time) Recent - I honestly dont understand how this differs from New - someone, please explain it to me.

Each has its own uses, but also faults.

Hot - Things that do not gain immediate attention are never seen, and lost to antiquity. Best - Some of these are already fixed, or from months ago. Some will likely NEVER be beat out by newer boards, at least no time soon. New - Boards are made faster than they can be read..... Recent - um...I need more information, but probably similar to New.

Another problem that has surfaced recently: when I get on, and look at New, MOST of the boards I see are people advertising Team creation (this is simply an illustration of a larger problem) - I like that Riot has provided a board that allows networking of players to meet and create teams and such - but as someone who, honestly, does not care (that is not a callus remark, it is a factual statement - I am not going to join a team nor create one, so these boards simply do not effect me) these boards are in the way of content I might actually want to comment on.

This leads me to the purpose of THIS addition to the bottomless pit that is the League of Legends boards - can we get preference filter of some kind attached to our accounts?

As an example, say, the ability to manually select which boards appear in ANY of the four topics, to select age of the boards seen, to select an up-vote threshold, etc.

In this way, we could personalize the boards we get on to see to create a more accessible board experience that facilitates grater community participation for all of us.

EDIT 1: Apparently Riot intends to do something to this effect, but has yet to announce how or what - So feel free to use this thread to give opinions, thoughts, and suggestions!
