"Request A Red", "Remove Comment", and New Like/Dislike System.

These are current problems with the boards. Reds don't have enough boards presence, almost never reply to questions that people have for them, and rarely reply to anything. Players will write a comment on your board that you don't want on there either because it's unwelcome or completely irrelevant to the thread, and you can't remove it. A large amount of the community will like a post but because a slightly larger amount dislike the post, it makes it seem the entire community as a whole don't like the post; you could have 1,000 likes on your post but if 1001 people dislike it, it'll look like either nobody paid attention to your thread, the community doesn't like it, or the community disregards the post, which further causes the post to be disregarded entirely.

#Request A Red Countless times have people made a title that clearly states that the post is intended for a Rioter, but never does a Rioter reply to it or even pay attention to it. The worst part is when you go into something like "Skins & Champion Concepts", "Gameplay & Balance", "Community Creations", or "Boards Feedback", which are almost entirely meant for Rioters to respond or at least acknowledge, yet they rarely ever get a response from a Rioter. And even worse than that is when you see a post that doesn't request a Rioter's attention in the title, yet a Rioter responds, then you see a little bit of time before that a post was made requesting a Rioter in the title, yet no response whatsoever. Three examples have been listed below.

Not only is this extremely rude, but it is also completely unprofessional. If you're going to run a company, it's just professional to answer your community's questions. Blizzard does it, Ubisoft does it, even non-gaming companies do it. Most companies even have a page for you to ask them questions on, yet Riot ceases to answer a large majority of the questions the community has for them. It feels like we're married to Riot, and Riot is the wife, who only hears and responds to what they want to hear and respond to. Again, completely unprofessional for running a company.

A "Request A Red" button will help get rid of this problem, as well as making the community a lot happier and healthier. This button does just as its name suggests: You press the button and it alerts reds to the post. If you don't do this, at least make some page where you answer questions the community provides.

#Remove Comment An example of where remove comment would come in handy: If I made a constructive post about how Riven can be fixed to be a more healthy champion, and it gives a lot of statistical evidence and details about how it would benefit the game without destroying her, then someone comments something like, "Lol stop QQing and play the game," I'd want that comment removed, but I can't remove it. Or, if someone comments something like, "Better nerf Irelia," it's completely irrelevant to the post, I'd want the comment removed. Last comment example, and this happened when I made a balance thread back when I was Silver 5 (genuinely well thought out post but it's history now), someone commented, "You're freaking silver you don't know anything about the game. Downvoted." Comments like these that are not constructive at all or completely irrelevant shouldn't be allowed to exist, and should be able to be removed by the thread owner's bidding.

The report option doesn't really help unless the comment is toxic, something like, "Stop being a f***** scrublord and learn to play the f***** game you noob. QQers like you make this game stupid." Allowing the owner of the thread to remove a comment from the thread is healthier to the community and the boards.

#New Like/Dislike System I already explained this at the beginning, but now I'd like to go into detail about this new like/dislike system.

Make it a generic like/dislike system, like the one that's on YouTube. It should show how many people like the post and how many people dislike the post, that way it doesn't look like either nobody paid attention to your thread, the community altogether doesn't like it, or the community disregards the post.

Thread is completely open to feedback. Just keep it constructive and not toxic.

Have you ever seen a games forum in which the company tries to reply to all (or even most) questions put to them? I'm always amazed by how much the Gazillion staff replies to their forums (a bit more than the staff here), and they wouldn't come anywhere close to your standards. Most other companies have minimal replies. Their lack of replies doesn't mean they aren't reading and reacting. If they spent all their time chatting on the forums, they wouldn't get their work done.

Your ideas (aside from the Like/Dislike changes) could be heavily abused if implemented. If we could simply call Riot and ask them to read our post, everyone would use it whether it was important or not. Things like "RITO PLZ NERF RIVEN SHES OP!!!!1" would get red attention, and by the time they're done scrolling through about 50 of those posts, do you honestly think they're going to be in the mood to reply to anything (much less the posts that actually matter)?

Also, the remove comment function could also be used to censor dissenting opinions. This is a community forum where feedback is welcome encouraged, so being able to remove someone's feedback at a whim is....well, not very encouraging. Maybe if there was some sort of limitation, for example, a certain percentage of likes to dislikes.
