Random logging out and unrecognized username/password combination

While I generally think the boards are fine - GD is not as active and fun as it used to be, but I suppose that'll fix itself in time - there is one thing that really annoys me, or actually two things:

First off, I sometimes randomly get logged out. This was actually a problem at the old forums too, but the second thing is what makes it a real problem: The boards don't recognize the username/password combination I've been using for years (the only way I'm able to stay logged in is by going back to the last page and such things), or sometimes even say I use the ReCaptcha wrong while I'm certain I didn't do it wrong (because I never did it wrong EVER on the old forums).

Seriously I had this problem yesterday and I'm like "I KNOW my username and password are correct, why won't it work?"

Also just noticed when I logged in to write this that the captcha seems to be different (now it's the "type the numbers you see in this photo" kind, instead of the "type this random Cyrillic letter jumble which you're guaranteed to get wrong" type.) I wonder if this matters? I know I failed captcha several times and it used to say "the re-captcha was incorrect," but it seems that on any attempt where I ever got the captcha wrong, it would then start throwing errors saying my username and password were incorrect when I know they weren't.

Happened to me, turns out I was trying to log into the EU server on an NA account

I get logged out like every minute, so annoying >_>

Had this happen couple days ago. Had me log into a and different server, euw or something like that, went to the old forums, noticed I was still logged in over there, so i logged out, signed in over here and it worked,

I was having issues with login as well. I was logged out a few days ago, and my username/pass did not work. I tried a password reset but never got the email. I tried username check but never got the email. I checked my spam folder each time.

On a hunch, I went to the OLD forums and logged in there, then I came here and was logged in.

Update: I managed to solve this by clearing League-related cookies, and now I can log in on the new board properly. This also somehow fixed the problem with not receiving username/password recovery emails.
