[Feedback] A new frame of mind on sub-community use

So one thing I've noticed is that all the CB sub-communities are trying to do slightly different things using the exact same method, and they're not as effective as they could be. What I mean by this is e-sports is giving a different kind of information than, say, Fan Creations and trying to develop a board that effectively shows both is a daunting task, and in my eyes harder than it should be. Here's what I mean:

###News (Riot--->Community)

#####e-sports, Riot Official

What I mean by this is these sub-communities are relying information from the riot-side of the equation much more than the other way around. Just as a newspaper has legitimately interesting articles and headlines but no reader-end discussion, these sub-communities are primarily being used to inform us of something having to do with that topic rather than creating in-depth discussion fro, both ends. Here, time posted would matter more than anything else.

###Discussion (Riot<--->Community)

#####Live Gameplay, Champion & Skins

These sub-comms are where both riot-end participation is just as important as playerbase participation. Here is where opinions are stated and actual back and forths happen often. I think of these sub-comms like a slow-paced chatroom, where (imho) replies are expected and comment participation matters more than popularity or time.

###Trending (Riot<---Community)

#####Fan Creations, Miscellaneous, Memes & Games, Site Feedback, Help & Support

These sub-comms are almost all on the playerbase end. Community approval matters here more than the others to filter the good from the great. As well as show trending problems and issues that may arise.

That's what I'm seeing right now, and I;m not saying this 100% the case just what I feel is the either intended or effective result of these topics. Thoughts?

I agree with you on every count except for Misc, which I feel is more (Community <---> Community), where rioters that post there, are posting as community members, or the most part.

Different default sorting options/algorithms for the different sub-comms? Sounds like a good idea to me.
