How does this format handle HUGE threads.

Can we get an extremely long thread with over 1000 replies copied to this section? Because right now I'm seeing a model that doesn't use pages at all, which urk's me greatly on an organizational lvl. Can we see what that looks like? How its handled?

Thank you.

Well this format, imho (in my humble opinion), tends to make people read all the 'main' posts instead of just skipping from page 1 to page 42, making redondant posts less likely to appear and even though interting posts are meant to be at the top while all the trash ones are sinking into the oblivion bottom.

The problem is that this relies on every single person voicing their honest opinion on every single post they read. As the norm is on the internet, you normally don't post or comment on something you're okay with, but you're more than willing to post about something you dislike or fall in love with. This leaves the more simple or middle-ground posts to die in the corner while drastic or early posts are kicked up to the top.

i agree there at least needs to be organizational options here for it to handle really long threads

such as popular chronological, direct comments (comments directly to the OP), comment groups, etc

Thanks for bringing this up!

We definitely have some challenges ahead of us with helping to present large threaded discussions, and providing an easy to understand path of revealing quality content (as well as providing an easy to use path of discovering and navigating through all content).

We started off with a relatively simplistic approach, and are excited to think outside of the box and bring forth solutions to these community discussion problems. We released this system early with such a simplistic approach because we value community feedback above all, so we felt like we should solve this problem together.
