What is this, reddit.com? because last I checked I was on leagueoflegends.com. Don't need no bs upboat or downboat arrows before being able to see the post. Whoever designed these new boards should stop going to reddit so often, ggwp rito.

That you don't like them is a single data point. The more insight we have, the more we can use it to inform how we build the platform here. Now that we know THAT you don't like them, you should tell us WHY you don't like them

Not only that but the website Reddit blows.
Their whole "upvote/downvote" system only benefits popular opinion and nothing more.
If they get rid of the forums for this shitty board then this portion of the website isn't going to be visited anymore.
Edit: Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fucking fired, as the idiot probably has a neckbeard and tips his fedora at "m'lady's" and most likely has an unhealthy weight problem which will drain the companies funds when the moron goes on medical leave and burns through the companies insurance when they have a heart attack from eating too much fucking cheetos and other oily fast foods.
How about an actual mobile implementation? It's downright embarrassing to see this hunk of junk take 2 minutes to load one simple page of posts on my windows phone which loaded the old boards perfectly fine like every other website on the internet.
Click the hyperlink that says switch to chronological view. It turns the boards back into the old forums layout.
I actually really like the new boards. I no longer have to have 50 tabs open to keep track of conversations. Just a quick and easy notification and away I go. I also like the visual layout of the boards much better as well.
God I really do hate the new boards. The "reddit style" is good for , "hey look at this" but is awful for discussion and finding info. And the colors, anyone with a working brain knows you go dark lettering on a lighter background. Ever seen an E-reader? A book? Any printed words?
Ya, I miss the old forums. It felt like there was far more active participation there too.
I don't like the new boards because all they are is a worse version of Reddit, which when it was by itself at least served as a separate highlight and point of view. Now that the official boards are trying to imitate Reddit all that has happened is they have made themselves the Reddit dumpster.
Forums are better for anything that isn't a giant circlejerk which I use as it seems to be the Reddit term for long trashy board posts full of garbage.
I agree that they should disable this up/down bs that ruins the forums, it always has. There's nothing that can truly show these are useful features... people just troll and hit up/down for whatever reason it's so stupid.
I must say I really dislike these new forums.
-The second thing is how cluttered this all feels. The stuff on the left honestly just feels cluttered. The other things is how many boxes and lines there are around each post. Yes the old forums had boxes around each post, they aren't obtrusive. A light grey border around each post on the white backround is just enough to to signify where different comments start and stop, but you don't notice them per se.
-Lastly, I don't like how you navigate. This one probably out of the 3 is mostly just based on "i dont like it" rather than having good reasons. But something about finding things on here just doesn't feel very good.
The first two issues honestly make me not want to use the forums. I used to read lots on the forums, but now I can't stand using them. The only times I look are when its something I have to look for on here, like Q&A. I was looking at the positive play rewards post, and remembered how much I hated these new boards so then I came to see if it was just me or if other people had similar views. Seems like I'm not alone.
TLDR- Change the color scheme. It gives me a headache.
