I don't understand why the moderators don't have the ability to "move" threads like every other semi-moderated board instead of frustrating the users by deleting their entire thread.

Probably Miscellaneous, the deleted content afterlife. Unless it was deleted from Miscellaneous. Then you'd have to give us a hint what it's about.
i've literally had threads that were placed in the proper section deleted simple because (im guessing) the rioter didn't agree with them. generally what i do is repost them and then they're fine after that.
Yeah, I posted this legit thread and it was deleted for whatever reason... Extremely quickly I might add.
