i really dont understand the boards team approach with removing shitposting

They want the boards to have quality content yet enforce a system in which half of these people are competing for "upvotes" and fill up the entire front page with utter garbage 90% of the time.

the memes and games section should be entirely seperate from any of this, it makes absolutely 0 sense to support this type of format by mixing serious league discussions with stuff like this

im not saying i don't like see'ing "fun" content every now and then but when your entire discussion board is filled meaningless crap like this you should realize that it has a problem

just click the boards home section and you can clearly see how almost none of the posts actually have an meaningful game discussions and then you add a retarded incentive by following a website which has like a 30 times larger userbase than you and expect the same results
