Ok, so I definitely deserved a ban. I was messing around with some friends and we were tilting the enemy. Ok maybe tilting isn't the right word. We were flaming them. A lot. However, I thought I was supposed to have a 5 game chat restriction, 10 game chat restriction, 2 week ban, then a perma-ban. I went straight to a perma-ban off the bat. I'm gonna stop being toxic, and I understand why I got a punishment I just thought I was supposed to go through a series of punishments before getting the ban hammer step one. DISCLAIMER: Yeah I definitely deserve a perma-ban. I was just joking around, but this... this is over the top. My question is mostly just what happened to the first couple of strikes.

The stuff you have here skips the first few strikes. Riot has a litteral zero-tolerance policy for the above stuff, so insta-perma.

The punishment tiers are more for minor offenses. Severe offenses, like using racial and sexual slurs on top of being a jerk, are grounds for skipping the chat restrictions and jumping straight to either a 14 day or permanent ban, although from what I've seen Riot generally does 14 day bans first and then permanent bans for this type of stuff.

If you truly have not received any other punishment before this, then you can try and submit a support ticket about the situation and Riot might lower your punishment down to a 14 day ban, but that's a very big might. If they still believe that a permanent ban is a proper punishment, then that's all you can do, but if they do lower it, keep in mind that your next punishment will be a permanent one no matter what.

If you use racial slurs it escalates you past the tiers of punishment to a permaban.

Yeah you get perma'd if you use racial and homophobic slurs. So, no, you're not getting your ban overturned.

Are you really suprised this is a perma? Most online games have a zero tolerance policy towards racism and encouraging people to commit suicide. In case you didn't know Riot has such a policy as well.

Yes I do realize that people have bad days and sometimes get baited into a shouting match and that is why the penalty tiers are in place to act as warnings before a perma. That being said there is absolutely zero excuse for saying the things you did and in my opinion is deserving of an insta perma.

If you truly haven't been punished before this, You can send in a support ticket and attempt to plead your case and they MIGHT mitigate your punishment to a 14 day suspension, but i wouldn't hold my breath on that.

Assuming you don't get this mitigated and you wish to continue playing on a new account I would recommend the following:

If someone is playing poorly / making mistakes try and give them CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Let them know what they did wrong and how to fix their mistake in the future in a calm mature way. People being helped are more inclined to improve than someone getting yelled at.
If you wouldn't say something to someone's face it doesn't need to be said on the internet. I know the trolls are going to say "It's the internet HTFU" and there may be some truth to that, but as I was taught at very young age: "Just because you can get away with being a jackass doesn't necessarily mean that you should be jackass"
When facing a troll simply don't retaliate. A trolls main purpose is to get a reaction from someone. Not only does this give the troll the justification to continue doing what he/she is doing, but they are most likely going to report you on the retaliation in the attempt to bring you down with them. Simple solution here is don't feed the troll. If a troll gets no reactions they will eventually get bored and go away.
If you are on tilt don't play. Seriously don't. Had a big fight/break up with your significant other, tough day at work? Give league a break and try and calm down before queueing up. Nothing good can come out of playing when going into a game already tilted.

Follow the above advice and you will never run afoul of the instant feedback tribunal system ever again.

If you start a new account, use better judgement and try treating others with some respect. Just a suggestion.

"Just Joking around" doesn't mean anything to riot. It is serious matter and you problably hurt the feelings of those people. The point of league of legends is to have fun. Not make insults to people and by doing that those people may not play the game anymore. They may quit the game that they loved so technically by saying all these things riot put out a perma ban on you.

I was part of his premade. He left something out of his post that is interesting. He also said something about hoping someone ties the noose around their neck already or something? Encouraging suicide = instant perma-ban. Don't know why he left that out when he put in the racial slurs....
