@riot about my permanent ban.

Hello everyone. So as of Mid-February My account has been permanently suspended. And for good reason too. If you guys want to read my final chat log, here it is its pretty bad. As of now I am on a secondary account and i am already back at Platinum Elo, but it still pains me to think about everything that i have done on this one. So im giving everyone a message. If you are toxic, its not worth it. If you are flaming its not worth the perma ban. Its not worth arguing with Riot over countless e-mails (which I still am doing) to find some stupid loophole to get your account back. Just dont be a dick in game. Even if you feel like the ban was unjustified which it probably wasnt its still not worth it. when I think about the 800 dollars that i have spent that is just gone now, locked away indefinitely it hurts, it really does. I just wanted to write this post to maybe open the eyes of some toxic people. And plea to Riot ofc. Its been fun though in Diveme. I hope one day me and bae can be reunited. Well here goes nothing, heres my chatlog. It's nice to see people actually reforming. And while it did cost you the account. It could have been a lot worse. But again it's great to see that you actually learn your lesson. Way too many people come here claiming they did nothing wrong only to see the chatlogs say something else. And even when do try to explain in simple detail as why they were ban they still don't learn. It's annoying. But then we get cases like you who like I said sadly had to learn the hard way but still learn nonetheless!

As was said already, it's nice to actually see reform instead of another blame topic.

There really needs to be a tangible reward for reform. There's barely any incentive for good behavior, regardless of if you've ever been punished or not. Especially since 'reform' isn't even really the word for it. More like 'restraint', unless you're actually telling me people change who they are because League of Legends asked them to.

(Hextech's not an incentive to behave well. It's an incentive to NOT behave badly. There's a difference, because just not saying anything at all doesn't affect eligibility. That and hextech's ACTUALLY a reward for playing well, but that's besides the point...)

man, it depends. how many previous punishments have you received on that account? chat restriction, temp ban, etc. i got perma banned once on this account but sent a ticket about how it was my first punishment so i got unbanned after a couple of weeks, but no chances left.

learn from your mistake and never spend money on this piece of sht chinese tencent game again. i would rather you say toxic sht all the time then spend your money in china for pixels.

what kind of sick fcked up company does this sht that makes players come groveling on the message boards for mercy. if OP is so toxic take away his chat use instead of a permaban this sht has gotten way out of hand

I don't know, I can understand both sides of the argument.

On the one hand, it would go a long ways towards showing the value of "reform" in a way that's actually noticeable. Especially if they did a mini-article interviewing successfully reformed players.

On the other hand, adding a way back in DOES devalue the "permanent" part.

Each side's got a point, and I don't think either one is technically "wrong".
