Is Reporting Even Worth It?

After reporting thousands of inters, trolls, or toxic players I'm wondering, how many of these reports go unnoticed? I hardly ever get instant feedback reports on reports of players that exceed MUCH beyond Riots Summoner Code. It almost seems as if players only get banned for toxicity but often the result of this toxicity is quitting/inting players... Unfortunately players who say "open/ff 15" and sit in base after one death during a winnable game get ZERO punishment compared to some salty player who's often tilted because of this. I Just think Riot has to take this much more seriously and it'll have a positive impact on the community. Opinions?

More than you know, but less than you hope.

Well, it's 1 click for you and a very very low chance for them to be punished.

You have to evaluate it for yourself. For some people 1 click is too much to stop a flamer, so apparently it is a huge effort to press one button.

If you are thinking they are inting but really aren't inting (as in they are just bad or make some bad decisions), then it's not worth reporting them.

You'll end up in a situation where you feel like the system isn't punishing them properly and you'll end up frustrating yourself.

no but if u make ur situation go viral like nub/nb3 situation someone might get banned for it otherwise u wait and hope they get themselves banned out of pure stupidity

This one goes pretty quick.

I hardly ever get instant feedback reports on reports of players

You are not supposed to.

Well the cost of reporting someone is maybe 5-10 seconds, so yeah I'd say its worth it. Depends how valuable your time is. If youre playing league, its probably not worth that much.

At best they haven't gotten that many reports and people aren't going to be punished over one game unless it's something egregious. At worst your bar for reporting someone is incredibly low and most people you are reporting have actually not done anything close to ban-able. Even in your example say I report someone for saying open and hell even afk'ing. I doubt they are doing that every match so I will probably not be seeing any feedback unless they have been doing it a lot and that final game was the one that pushed it over the edge.

Most of the time you won't get an ifr if someone gets punished And just look at the boards, every day there's people whining about how they got banned So yes, people do get punished
