Just got my second chat restriction in 4 years of playing this game. Got restricted for 1 game when i did nothing wrong. Xerath was flamming all game and admitted to trolling in chat but yet im the one who gets punished for doing nothing wrong. Thanks riot.

You harassed Xerath. That's against the rules. It does not matter what he did or said first. The rules apply to everyone and in all situations.

You are free to report players you think are violating the rules after the game. You are not permitted to flame or harass others in chat at any time, nor create a negative environment which virtually all of your chat aside from harassing Xerath was doing.

You spent the entire match raging at your team. You called for reports (which is harassment as well as pointless), and you labeled your teammates useless trolls. That's not "nothing wrong." You earned this chat restriction. Either improve your behavior according to the rules Riot puts in place, or watch as your punishment tier escalates. The choice is yours.

Did you report Xerath?

If you did, then you do not know if they got a chat restriction or not. Or punished with low priority queues or anything of the sort. If you are seeing if he is still playing games in an attempt to see if your punishments provided the result you wanted, than this is called cyber stalking, stop stalking people.

That said, you have to admit that your complaints about Xerath were overly aggressive, and should not have gotten to the point it did. All that you flaming them had done was make them laugh knowing that they will get you punished same as they did. It does not matter what THEY did. What matters in your punishment is what YOU did.

(You continued to be flaming other people for their actions, it sounds like you were purposrfully taking their farm to grief them (see the "you dont need cs" commentary), and then calling out for reports when 1 is all that is needed.)

This is more of a proof that you don't understand how the system works rather than the system not working.

Let's have you understand the behavioral system a bit more. Think of it like a health bar (or tension meter) in music games. When you hit the note at an off beat, your tension meter increases. When you completely miss a note, the meter increases by alot. When you hit the note at good timings, it reduces the meter.

Riot's behavior system works the same way, as in we all have a toxicity meter attached to our accounts. When players are mildly toxic, it goes up a tad. When people use hate speech, it pretty much fills up the meter. of course, clean games reduce the meter.

It is possible for playerA to get punished and playerB not to, even though playerB was waaayyyyy more toxic . Let's say playerA started the game with the toxicity meter at 95% and playerB's at 35%. Ingame, playerB said some pretty nasty shit and playerA responds with some shit as well. After the game, playerA gains 10% toxicity and playerB gains 50%. Now playerA is at 105% toxicity and gets punished, whereas playerB is at 85%, and not punished in that specific game, even though playerB was found to be 5x more toxic than playerA in that game.

Your chatlogs are pretty minor in severity, but it's still considered toxic. It may increase the toxicity meter for around 1~2%, so I'd look at your history and try to identify where the other 99% of toxicity came from.

Typically people whom have a habit accusing others for trolling and asking for reports don't know that such activities are considered a harassment, so they'll do that every 3~4 games and not get punished for it, until they finally cross the tip of the meter, get punished and go "why tf did the system punish me, I did nothing wrong". Which seems like what is going on right now.

Asking for reports is the biggest thing I see here. I mean not a lot, if any, of your chat was positive. "ur useless", saying "wtf" towards teammates may have also contributed to it. If this is the whole of it, its one of the less toxic logs I've seen that's been punished, but still not positive at all and does contain some stuff that is considered punishment worthy.

P.S. - It doesn't matter what your teammates were doing/saying.

Mate i feel you, but theres a good thing called mute button. Use it, trust me it helps alot. Also muting the all chat is helping alot. On this method i carried many games already. Even when i was tilted. You can scream, and have bad words in your mind, but just dont type it into League! And i know there are many feeders and trolls out there, but as long youre playing League you have to accept that. Otherwise just quit League, at least for a while. Play Skyrim or The Witcher^^. You didn't tell xerath that he's the most amazing beautiful butterfly you've ever seen when he ruined your game. I bet you didn't even kiss the monitor for his profile after the game. Earned that ban hard.

Next time, when someone loses a game for you and then rages on you, tell them how much you love them.

Yeah man, Same thing has happened to me twice now. I get harshly harassed and I defend myself without the same harshness and not only do they never get reported but I get the restriction. Then Riot is all like "we are sorry but here is your chat log for the 5th time and this is why you're chat restricted" I just don't understand riot employees. They must be high or soemthing.
