Did someone ever get their perma banned account back?

Funny how you can get banned by player triggered reviews because they cannot simply press the mute button when I use the chat. That being said, did any player ever get the chance to recover their perma banned accounts before? What if a player spent like 500-700$ on skins ?? What did they do? I saw alot of games that unban perma banned accounts but with Riot it seems to be a problem.

Spending money does not grant you immunity to punishment. There are people who have spent thousands of dollars on their account and then got perma banned for being toxic.

That being said. No. Unless the ban was a mistake in Riots end no one has ever gotten a permanent banned account back, not even pro players. They would not be permanent otherwise.

You should have followed the summoner's code and thought about how you play the game and how it can effect you in the future.

To give a full answer to your pull, NO! They already give people plenty of chances, it's called the punishment tier.

My boy you get 3 chances before a perma. Doesn't matter how much money you put into the game, you're toxic.

  1. Riot doesn't care how much u spend in their game, u break their rules - u get punished.
  2. Only if the ban was a mistake or in super rare cases, otherwise they won't lift it.

i saw there was one , unban . but its was due to false reporting . That player sending ticket, posting in board , and Proved it was false reporting . He clear (not toxic) . If you sure you didnot use any trigger word in game , int feeding, afking etc. send ticket for review ur ban.

  1. Permabanned accounts are never overturned unless the ban was applied in error, which is extremely rare. Riot tried a program years ago that gave permabanned players a second chance called the lv.20 challenge (get to lv.20 without being punished) but scrapped it due to the low success rate.
  2. The mute button =/= a get out of jail free card. While I agree that some people can be oversensitive and blow things out of proportion if you can't interact with others without forcing them to mute and/or report you constantly then the problem lies with you and not them.
  3. Everyone is treated equally in regards to the rules regardless of how much money they spent. To quote Kei143:

When Riot permabans someone, their philosophy is "the chances of this guy reforming isn't a whole lot, we'd rather not have him in the game". Thus in their eyes, they have already written off the toxic player as a paying client.

From a business standpoint, do they want to remove the toxic guy who has spent $500 but is causing a negative environment for 4-9 other players in every game? Those non-toxics are also spending $500 and probably will spend more, promote the game more when they are enjoying the game AND they won't cause a negative environment.

I personally think it is a fine argument to protect the ones that are paying money and aren't toxic rather than protecting the ones that may pay the same amount but are toxic.

Yes. Players have gotten their accounts back, but never if the account was banned due to Toxicity.

In the end, we choose to behave the way we do. We make the choice and push the keys to convert our thoughts into text for reading, which means we commit to our actions, whatever they are. Your chance is while you are in that game, knowing that you have already been banned for 2 weeks. 2 weeks is a long time and is supposed to give you the time to cool off and re-evaluate your approach to the games you play.

Most players who get their accounts back are proving themselves innocent of stuff like 3rd party program usage, chargebacks, things that have nothing to do with Player Behavior in game or on streams.

They do not care what you spent on the game prior to the ban. In fact they have no idea you are banned, because a computer decided it for them. It's cheaper that way. In fact, the system saves them so much money by doing all the work for them because they do not have to pay the personnel it would take to review the reports. All it takes is for you to type ANYTHING in chat ingame. And I do mean ANYTHING, you could type a "." or "hey". Get it? Then all anyone on either team has to do is click report. BAM, account is reported. Some players know this and spam report after every game. You have to be lucky and go through the act of God to prove it was a false report, so its too easy to false report. Besides, the odds of you making another account and spending money again are probably high, so they do not see much of a loss in profits from it. Riot has major issues with toxicity, so they adjusted the system to amp up the response to reports. They say its 0.06% of players are perma banned, but information can be misleading if it is not presented properly. Notice how they do not state 0.06% of active accounts? They probably don't do that because the percent would be much different. Let's not forget how many of those accounts are owned by the same individual.

I got banned for telling my team "I'm dead...", because the troll Sona on my team was telling everyone i was afk...The computer told me that this was unacceptable hatespeech blah blah toxic blah whatever they programmed it to say, blah. This was after the Sona kept putting me down and calling me names for 15 mins ofcourse. Guess what, that Sona still plays, they got chat banned because I got the notice, but I got permabanned. I had just recently got back from a 14 day ban, saying less toxic things than Tyler1 does on stream on a daily basis because of spam false reporting. I say less toxic things than the announcers shoutcasting and hosting the LCS ffs lol. I have said bad things before, like 3 years ago, but not in my recent games these past 2 years atleast. I have not demonstrated what I believe is hatespeech. I got multiple honors from my teammates, and I unlocked honor and rewards again. I thought it would be safe to speak again, but apparently they want you to never speak again no matter what it is.

If they do not unban my account, I have plans to bypass the time and amuse myself. I have recently picked up Overwatch and I am really enjoying it. Blizzard has a really good reputation, and I have had accounts with them since 2003, none of which are banned. I gladly give them my money and play their games :). You can play this game, you just can't type in it is all. Never type and you never get reported. There is nothing to report. You could feed into towers all day and your account would be safer than typing "hey".

I do not feel remorse for defending myself against an online troll who was going to spam report after the game anyway. I am not a racist, evil, hateful, mean person. No system in any game is going to make me think that I am. I am not out to get people or hurt people, and no false reporting is going to make me think that I do. I will always defend myself and have no problems admitting when I am wrong.

By the way, just did a game on 2nd account, at the end, one of my teammates told me I should die. Guess that's considered lovespeech LOL. They still play.

Yes. T1 recently did, and he was at the point where every single one of his accounts got banned on-sight. [draven-pose]
