Gosh, Oceania people are so rude, am I the only one feel this

Apologized if I seem overreacting, and sorry if this looks like that-yahoo-answer-question. But this is what I got from Oceania - rude people, IN GENERAL.

I'm playing Oceania just because my friend is also in that server, I wanna tell him to come to NA already!! But I'm not sure if this is an Oceania thing or people in games are rude kind of thing. But I realized just in two days I got so many insults from Oceania, and "bad players" got picked every time. I mean, who didn't start as a beginner? Why is everyone so harsh on everyone else?

And don't know if this is a coincidence or what, I met 2 mainland Chinese people on Oceania and they are super rude, start saying "This xin zhao wtf", or "This Xin Zhao is bad" (I played Xin Zhao), and unfortunately, for my friend, he's also result oriented kind of people, if you don't play it good, well, prepared to be insulted! Well? WTF?

Nah, you're right, OCE is very toxic. In particular there's a lot of Chinese foreign students (living here for university) that are convinced they are better at the game than you because of their nationality and throw insults all over the place in English and Chinese. No racism intended, of course, several of my closest friends are Chinese foreign students. But even native OCE players are often toxic. Either way, as with any server, you're more likely to encounter toxicity in the leveling stage and in low Elo than you are in mid-high Elo ranked.

I doubt your friend would be interested in playing on NA because with NA being based in Chicago now OCE players will generally get 250-300 ping to NA. It was playable in the old west coast days when the ping was 180-250ish.

you can play on every server you want. you will always have that bronze 5 guy in your team who just made a new account and now stomps bot and insults the real newcomers to feel good one time.
