All Chat

Before someone says something, I DO realize the option to mute all chat is there. However, my question is why do we even need it at all? I don't know if it's just bronze-gold elo that does this, but I scarcely see anything positive come out of all chat. I think that if it was eliminated altogether, there would be little to no way (or temptation) to spread toxicity (at least during game) and lower morale of other players. I've had my share of being flamed in game as well as flaming others (though I really am trying to work on it) and the removal of all chat entirely will keep opposing teams from being at each others' throats during game. Emote spam and laugh spam is already able to get under players' skin, and if something as silly as that can tick off a player, then all chat is often a ticking time bomb . I've literally seen all chat halt two players from doing much of anything in game--except talk. It causes the more "vulnerable" players to lose focus on the game. Coercing people to mute all chat is also an improbability, so there isn't a 100% solution to this issue. Now when it comes to post-game chat, you can put your "gg ez"s there and ask other players to report someone, but again, there is no reason to do it in game.

If there is something I'm maybe overlooking I'd love to hear it, or any discussion for that matter.
