So let me get this straight...

I'm trying to understand rather than complaining, but I get stuck with a premade that gives up several early kills, they start BMing me because I said the game was over, and when I answer (no swearing, I didn't even insult them lmao) I'M the one who gets hit with a ban? Like I know that you're not supposed to answer trolls and that flaming will get you banned even if someone else starts first, but I was called gay and a pussy (among other things) while I didn't insult or swear at these guys a single damn time, so why am I the one who was punished when I wasn't even the worst guy in the game?

It's a chat restriction so no big deal I'll see it through, but are these punishments implemented in a consistent manner? I ask for two reasons:

  1. If I got punished, surely the guy who insulted should have been too
  2. I've had frustrating games like anyone else where I've told unpleasant people off using more colourful language, and have gotten nothing for these. Of all games, why is it this one that gets me punished? This is my first punishment in any game, it's not like I have a history of excessive toxicity

I'm trying to understand so it doesn't happen again. Does this take into account several games, or did I really get chat restricted for this one (of all games?!?!?)

saying the game is over is a negative attitude that drags the whole team down cause you gave up.

also you dont have to be the worst, you have to break rules constantly to get banned which you obviously did (chatlogs pls) so yes it takes several games but you only get chatlogs for the last 1-3 game(s)

if you want to understand what was wrong post your chatlogs and most ppl will help you by showing you what was toxic

No single game (barring some very, very bad stuff like threats and similar stuff) causes you to get punished. Well, and those from LeaverBuster but that's for afks and dcs. Most likely the person/people that reported you also got punished for it. Maybe not.

Also, what anybody else does has no impact on how you are expected to behave. It's not a "well he was worse than me!" debate. Either you follow the rules or you do not. The rules don't change based on who started it or who was worse. Whether or not the other person was punished really isn't any of your concern. Just focus on being more positive in your matches and you won't have to worry about chat restrictions or bans or anything.

people get punished in their time, depending on how consistant they were being toxic.

also, pre-mades group reporting you don't mean anything unless you said something bad. false reports will get thrown out and group reports within that same game get counted as 1 report.
